RevJim 0 #76 September 5, 2003 Quote ok maybe I'll be able to contribute to this thread if I get my B license this weekend. anyone got advice re. the exam??? Read the SIM. Seriously, you should read it anyway. I read it cover to cover ('01 edition) and it stuck with me so well that I know what's right and wrong at DZ's just by looking around. My post for tonight: I went bowling tonight (league) and realized that I now qualify for a PBA card. Hopefully, coming to a TV near you, Rev, bowling for jump money! It's your life, live it! wmw999 2,507 #77 September 5, 2003 Quote anyone got advice re. the exam?? Yeah; pass it. Kinda like the best water briefing I ever heard, said on the ride to altitude in a Beech: "Don't drown." That said, RevJim's advice is good. Not that I'd know anything about a B license, but the C and D tests were OK when I took them. skybytch 273 #79 September 5, 2003 Quote I went bowling tonight (league) and realized that I now qualify for a PBA card. No shit?!?! Wow. My dad would be jealous. Another positive - my parents got back from their two month trip in their RV today, so I get to spend some time with them before I head out on Monday. racer42 0 #80 September 5, 2003 Turned 43 last week. Way better than 23. Managed some really fun hybrid jumps. Met some cool people. Helped out where I could. Oh yeah ordered a new container. Learned a bunch of new stuff about all sorts of things. My kids are good, the wife has a new job she loves and so on........L.A.S.T. #24 Co-Founder Biscuit Brothers Freefly Team Electric Toaster #3 Co-Founder Team Non Sequitor Co-Founder Team Happy Sock

It's gonna be at least a few months before I get my arm back into usual shape (230 ish average), by then I'm thinking The Showboat (Reno?) is gonna be a stop for my BEER PBA tourny. indyz 1 #82 September 5, 2003 Quote anyone got advice re. the exam??? Borrow a recent SIM. Find the part that tells you what sections to study for the B, then read them carefully. Pass the test. As for me: I got a new job. 30% raise, better hours (less of them, but the raise takes care of that nicely), and it'll help me get the jobs I really want when I finally graduate college. juanesky 0 #83 September 5, 2003 Advice for the B? yep, swim like your life depends on it, it does.....swim, swim and don't drown. As for the Night jumps, it only requires that you are B qualified, meaning you have all the jumps, water training, and just need to take a test. Good luck and blue ones."According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon
