Unstable 9 #26 September 3, 2003 QuoteThe gurgling sound he made and the desperate 911 calls.....images like that never leave your mind May i also add: WEAR A CUP!!!!!! This isn't funny, I saw a buddy of mine lose his left nut because of this. As for myself, I was playing about 4 months ago, and when running from bunker to bunker, i tripped on a tree root and ended up spread eagle in front of my opponent: He put around 5 shots to my groin and 3 to my chest. I was wearing a cup, and i shutter to think what would happen had i not been!!!! AggieDave, what would happen if your position was closed in on by a tape-runner of sorts? Did you ever end up close range with your marker at 400 fps??=========Shaun ==========
Lefty 0 #27 September 3, 2003 A semi shooting hot...the arch nemesis of a pump player like myself. Used to work at a paintball field and saw a finger get broken by a ball from a gun that chrono'ed at 300. I'd hate to imagine what 400 could do. I have a green Phantom with pretty much all the stock parts available. Try to out-snipe that, Dave. Which reminds me, I'm trying to sell it for skydiving money. Anyone interested in the best pump gun money can buy can PM me for details. Racenic 0 #29 September 3, 2003 yeah I use to play until I discovered skydiving. I was even shot once by Superman himself, Dean Cain. I wish we could play under canopy....... AggieDave 6 #30 September 3, 2003 QuoteI'm not trying to criticize, but wouldn't that be rather dangerous at close distances?? You're right, it would be very dangerous at close distances, that's why if you were closer then about 50 yards, I would low crawl away, if you could even see me, that is. I got shot out a few times due to that, a person would be too close and I wouldn't fire, but get hit trying to get away. *shrug* It was worth it, though, everytime I scored a head shot at long distance, especially when they couldn't even see me or even knew where the shot came from.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." bch7773 0 #31 September 3, 2003 yeah I know what you mean. I've been hit in the throat by just a standard pump chrono, and it hurt like nothing else... I couldn't imagine what it would be like with a high powered shot. also if you don't have a cup, but you still want protection, just slip an extra knee or elbow bad down there. it worked for me MB 3528, RB 1182

Muenkel 0 #33 September 3, 2003 I love playing paintball. I've only played indoors and look forward to a massive game outdoors. The welts I can do without. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

Could you imagine taking paint in the goggles then trying to see where ya going. PMS #62 Zarza R[red

MochaSkyChick 0 #37 September 3, 2003 Quoteum yep. did on sat and my ass now looks like it belongs on a cheetah!! I know what those welts can be like. I had a huge one on my inner thigh right above the knee. A team mate of mine got trigger happy and took me down in a spray of paintballs when I was running past him. I was only about 10 feet from him too. I look back on it now and it’s hilarious because it was like everything went into slow motion like a Rambo movie or something.
