Gawain 0 #1 September 1, 2003 My favorite movie with him was "The Mechanic". Some of these events, as they transpire are chipping away and making me feel aged... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,96134,00.htmlSo I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Michele 1 #2 September 1, 2003 My father did a few movies with Charles Bronson...I remember being able to go up to Canada for vacation as my father was working on Death Wish...learned how to ski in Banff, Lake Louise and Sunshine (IIRC...) He was, despite his on-screen persona (and rumors to the contrary), a gentle man, in my experience. He will be missed. jjiimmyyt 0 #6 September 2, 2003 I had great respect for the guy and will miss him, even if I could never understand his gun stance. Racenic 0 #8 September 2, 2003 QuoteMy favorite movie with him was "The Mechanic". Yeah that and the Dirty Dozen. So that leaves Clint Eastwood as the last Tough Guy from the 60's-70's Right? I mean John Wayne, Steve McQueen, Lee Marvin, James Coburn, Charles, .....?? rmsmith 1 #9 September 2, 2003 In 1966, Bronson fell in love with the lovely blonde British actress Jill Ireland, who happened to be married to British actor David McCallum. Bronson reportedly told McCallum bluntly: "I'm going to marry your wife."

kimerson 0 #13 September 3, 2003 "The Great Escape". One of the best movies period! Steve McQueen on the motorcycle doing his own stunts. Charles Bronson. James Garner. Donald Pleasance. Great movie. I've seen it dozens of times, at least six were in the theatre when it first came out. Now that's admitting to age!
