moodyskydiver 0 #8 August 27, 2003 QuoteAnother knee injury. What happened?Landed in tall weeds/screwed up my depth perception.Landed really hard.Apparently they think the joint has been jammed/knocked out of alignment and walking on it while injured causes hyperextension so that stretched/bruised some ligaments too.Been this way for like 10 months to a year b/c I didn't really have the $ or insurance to pay for it.Hopefully tomorrow will be the end of it. GigaBuist 0 #15 August 27, 2003 Quotedoes Bombay Saphire Gin and Tonic count? Pansy A "few" pints of porter from the local micro brewery + New Castle + some funky Blueberry flavored Ale I picked up this weekend. You could whack me with a baseball bet and I'd probably figure it out 2 hours later right now. Trying to figure out if I should take a new job or not. They guy that wants to hire me met me at a pub today after work as we gulped down porters. Oi. To keep on topic though.... If you've got a whacked out back the best pain killer I think is some cough syrup. Nab something that doesn't have any ancetopmeotphin and only lists dextromethorphin hydrobromide as the active ingredient. Whack down 4 oz out of an 8oz bottle before you hit the sack and you'll wake up after a night of zero tension in your back. This isn't the safest thing in the world though -- consult a doctor, lables, FDA, labeling, your weight, etc, before doing so.

I also had a shoulder surgery and stayed away from them... ALthough I took some BC powder, I think it is a super strength aspirin. PhillyKev 0 #25 August 27, 2003 percocet/vicodin/oxycontin are all the same opiate based pain killers. Difference is what it's mixed with (tylenol, aspirin, ibuprofren) and if there's a time release or not. Generic name is oxycodone. In short....it's morphine.
