I went in 1993 and unfortunate to me things didnt go my way. Its very hard in the state of texas for the court system to award custody to the father unless it has been proven that the childs mother is unfit. In my case it was almost impossible for me to prove that she was but it seems that the past few years she has been doing a pretty good job of it herself. If any one wants to know by the way, I am paying over 1000.00 a month for child support to the state of texas for one child. But I look at ther bright side, I only have 8 more years to go WOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO lol. Again rhino best of luck to you bud. We do the whole thing in front of the judge over again. No matter.. My son is the goal. Not time. Not money. All him.. My home is the better place.. She has already proven that she is unfit. Rhino
 juanesky 0 #13 August 29, 2003 Glad to hear that at least he is finally being considered and looked after in court. Most people really think that it is us men the pigs, where the victims are the children, and courts do not care for them, they tend to protect the women first. Are you self representing yourself? If you are that is one hell of a job you are doing, and hope that your son may soon enjoy the loving home he deserves. I have a very expensive set of attorneys that I owe allot of money to. To date I have paid over $50,000 in attorney and investigator fees and owe an additional $40,000 at this moment. I suspect that number will go up.. This whole thing has been an absolute insult to fathers much less the children. Michigan is EXTREMELY slanted towards woman having primary custody. The only way I have gotten this far is by running LOTS AND LOTS of miles burning off frustration. Keeping the end goal in mind. End goal being what is best for Daniel and getting full custody of him. Remaining consistant and persistant. Taping EVERY phone call. Putting EVERYTHING in journals. Catching EVERY lie she has made from the beginning. SHE has absolutely DESTROYED her own credibility by simply being herself. I simply didn't quit and I have remained the sacrificial lamb in this whole thing. I bend over backwards to get any time I can with him. I have NEVER missed a day that I could get with my son. I have essentially built a track record. From the day this started I was guilty until proven innocent. Family court is a JOKE but I have to do it the right way.. Unlike my Ex keeping him from me, and spoiling our plans every chance she gets I will do the opposite. The only way I can make this work WHEN I get Daniel is to make sure I do NONE of the things she has done. To make sure she is amply satisfied with her time with him and he is satisfied and not frustrated with the time he gets with her. I will allways be last.. It has to be that way for my sons sake.. Ain't it a bitch... LOL Rhino
 JeffD 0 #15 August 29, 2003 Man its tough. My parents got divorced when I was 5 and My mother always badmouthed my father in front of me, which is not fair. I only saw my father for 2 months a year because my mother moved us around alot and woulden't tell him where we went until around summer time when I would leave for 2 months and come back. Needless to say after I turned 18 I went to my fathers house to start college so I could spend lost time with him. I wish you best of luck. As for Massachusetts the issue is not more different, same situation here. We are guilty, until proven innocent. So far, as it seems to be your case, she is only interested in the $$ she can get, same here, it is not about the kids, it is funny how for most part the whole society seem to be complacent to the abuses women do there everyday, against any basic principle of the law, and constitutional right of children. It all ends up being our fault, for we are the pigs after all. Either way, if I ever go to your DZ, or you come to the North East, let me know, we should start our own club of no ma'am for skydivers........what do u think?"According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon
 rhino 0 #17 August 29, 2003 Well..
