Sorry Aggie.......no outside vendors allowed at SDA you have to be attached to a concession in order to pack here.
AggieDave 6 #678 October 29, 2002 That blows, but that's really good for the packers who work there...I guess I'm going to have to stick to whoring myself out to all the sky chickies...wait, I do that for free... --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." CanuckInUSA 0 #688 October 29, 2002 Ok ... let's see what direction this thread can take now. How many days are some of you guys/girls thinking of being at Eloy? If things work out for with the Whuffo boss the way I hope they do, I will be travelling to Eloy on the Dec 21st. Jumping from Dec 22nd through to Dec 31st and then as long as I'm somewhat civilized on New Years, travelling back to Colorado on January 1st. That's ten days of skydiving for this camper. Also how many jumps do you think you guys/girls will be able to do in one day? I'm not the fastest packer, but I should be able to do 5-7 per day. So If I'm jumping at Eloy 5 times a day for 10 days. Wha-hoo!!! That's 1/4 of the jumps I need for my "D" License. Of course it's also close to $1000 that I'll be spending on jump tickets. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
mouth 0 #689 October 29, 2002 50 jumps sounds like a good plan to me. 50 x 13 = 650 plus a few high altitude jumps and a balloon jump. I'm still under $1000. Life is good. . -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
skycat 0 #690 October 29, 2002 We will be out there Dec 29th- Jan 2nd, (5 days)unless I join in in the big way organizing I'll probably do about 5 a day, if I do big way stuff I'll go up to 7. So anywhere from 25-35 jumps, already have a balloon jump, and get plenty of high alti jumps so I'll be passing on those. Fly it like you stole it! Deuce 1 #691 October 29, 2002 I'll be there all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'm looking for 8-10 a day. Gonna do the balloon and the Stearman. I jump from 14.5 all the time, so I'll do high altitude if it's a sufficiently goofy group. Skycat, I hope you do some big-way organizing, I'd like to get in on some larger RW. CanuckInUSA 0 #692 October 29, 2002 So what's considered high altitude in Eloy? I routinely jump from 17500' MSL here in Colorado and I believe Eloy is under 1500' MSL. So any extra free fall sounds good to me. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
mouth 0 #693 October 29, 2002 Some big way stuff sounds cool. The largest I've been on is an 18 way so maybe we could work up to something a little larger. . -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

wmw999 2,447 #696 October 29, 2002 I'll be there 7 1/2 days. Hopefully I'll make about 5 a day; if the snow cooperates and it's not too far, I'll probably try to go skiing for a day too. They just upped the limit on my VISA card, so that must mean I have the money for it all, right?Wendy W. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it.
