freeflygoddess 0 #1 August 23, 2003 I am SOOOOOOOOOOO BORED! Wish I was jumping instead of sitting on my arse at home. Need money....Just curious who else is in my shoes.
cindee 0 #2 August 23, 2003 I've been stuck at home sitting on my arse for 4 weeks now due to a landing injury. I am also very bored...__________________________________________________ "If happy little bluebirds fly above the rainbow, why oh why can't I?" betzilla 56 #3 August 23, 2003 me, me, me. I'm stuck in a windowless room at my DZ, watching all the smiling skydivers go about their fun day. *sigh* At least I can jump tomorrow!
freeflygoddess 0 #4 August 23, 2003 Wow that sucks, turns my complaining into more of whineing. 4 weeks, that would kill me..it has only been 6 days for me, but still here I sit with my whine...I feel you though because I have been there. On my 13th jump I hurt my self really bad and had to have knee surgury. It took me out for 7 weeks...I thought I was going to die, mostly because I was becoming the biggest witch and I thought my family was going to kill me...lol..Now they try to make sure I go every weekend, but my parents are on vacation for a couple of weeks so I have no babysitter and also I have no money coming in until the first. It sucks. I feel so bad for you. I hope you a speedy recover and awesome welcome back jumps. I know that when I rescue my gear from my rigger...love you Kevin...I will have awesome coached jumps with Dusty. I am downsizing. Any ways, if you were close to me I would lend you all of my videos. That helped a lot when I was hurt. At least I was learning kewl freeflying moves while sitting on my arse. Kathryn
cindee 0 #5 August 23, 2003 I also messed up my knee. I have a tibial plateau fracture, a torn ACL and a posterior lateral corner injury. I won't know if I need the ACL surgery until the fractures are healed. When I get back, I'll never forget to keep the feet and knees together! Hope you get back in the sky soon. __________________________________________________ "If happy little bluebirds fly above the rainbow, why oh why can't I?" Gawain 0 #6 August 23, 2003 I'm home, but not stuck. Reserve is due for a repack and the Cypres needs to be put back in after its two-year. Meanwhile, enjoying some coffee and running some errands. The cool thing about SoCal is I can still enjoy a day if I'm not jumging because the weather simply rocks! So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! LittleJumper 0 #7 August 23, 2003 I haven't gone since last year...surgery yes, but not due to skydiving, which messed up my finances so couldn't go for a long while. Hopefully next month things will be back to normal, I soooo miss skydiving. Met some great people at Lummy's party and encouraged me to get back up there again!! Thanks Lummy for a great part! What you "think" you cannot do ...you CAN if you "think" about it
kris12 0 #8 August 23, 2003 I am also stuck in work (my boss finally got back from vacation and I need to actaully get things to work...). I am not grounded. Though it is a bit too windy for me today, I am hoping to get a bunch of jumps in tomorrow. Hope everyone gets better and back in the air soon!! kristen swooo #3 MB #3587 P.M.S. #66 "so let go, jump in...what're you waiting for? it's all right 'cause there's beauty in the breakdown"

andy2 0 #10 August 23, 2003 I only have enough cash to make like 4 jumps, Im gonna save it for tomorrow supposed to be good weather... *knocks on wood* Im having a nice relaxing day at home though, got a lot of Art History homework done --------------------------------------------- let my inspiration flow, in token rhyme suggesting rhythm... CrazyIvan 0 #11 August 23, 2003 Even though I didn't jump today, I just went to the DZ and hang out, the wind, the people and the smell of jet fuel kept me in a good mood. The reason I didn't jump is because I want to feel my shoulder 100% ok.__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you. freeflygoddess 0 #14 August 23, 2003 Here for those of you who are really bored. Not sure how good some of the pics came out. These are the only pics I have on this computer that I could download to this site but try one out to kill time or make your own site with some better pics. I wish my camera was still working I would have better pics by now, but I broke it jumping...go figure... dzbum 0 #20 August 24, 2003 Was at the DZ today with beautiful blue skies, moderate winds, rig ready to go- but was on call, so no jumping- it sucks! Did get to load the plane a few times though. Took some pics too- ChrisIt's good to be the pilot.
freeflygoddess 0 #21 August 24, 2003 omg lmao.. not sure... I have yet to catch the early bird load, I can't get up that early, plus I have been using demo gear from square2 till my stuff was done and they don't open early enough to catch the early team loads out here. Maybe I can after the first when I rescue my gear from my rigger..love ya Kevin...
vonSanta 0 #22 August 24, 2003 Too windy yesterday. Been like that for 14 days. But it's now 07:20, the sun is showing itself, winds are down and if I listen really really carefully, I can hear the Cessna starting up.
