Training DVDs for Newbie

Are there any training videos that are worth the time and money for a newbie going AFF? Thank you in advance.

In AFF, not really. Post AFF and in the coaching or early A licence phase? The Skydive University series is a few years old but still really good.

For when when AFF is done there are quite a few good training videos like fly like a pro, pack like a pro, vertical journey, learning to sitfly, breakaway, ... Most of 'em can be found at paragear.com. I'd focus on your AFF (have fun! :) ) first though and consider buying afterwards.

elsinoer website used to have some cool animations that helped me through aff. but unfortunately, i think they got rid of them.

ive got AFF lvl 8 left to jump (done 4 consols) and if i learnt anything from any dvds etc it wouldnt have helped me with me aff lvls...listen to your instructors and try to be as relaxed as poss (it does wonders) and i found listening to ppls attitudes rather than technques at the dz helps ..instructrors are trained to get you skydiving whereas others can only say how they felt and what they did

I dont know if anyone posted it but I watch the AFF series videos on skydive Perris site. Its under the school logon. Worked good for me, Im doin 7&8 this weekend.

The "Survival Series" is available on a 2 DVD set and includes Pack Like A Pro, Trouble Free Zero-P, Fly Like A Pro, Breakaway and Ground Rush. Kinesthesia is a good vid for body flight. Packing Made Simple is the newest packing vid (that I know of) and I most highly recommend it. The computer animated gear-check and "how it works" segments for the 3-ring and RSL are a nice touch.
