supersky 0 #1 October 8, 2011 Hello, I have a cypres2 of March 2007 and the date of next maintenance was on September 2010. Untill now i never did it because i stopped activity 3 years ago. I would know if it is possible to sell it without the relative maintenance. In attachment my Cypres2 booklet. Thank you Lucafly free
NWFlyer 2 #2 October 8, 2011 Sure, you can sell it; the new owner will have to catch up on the maintenance before he/she jumps it. Just be sure to be specific that the maintenance is overdue when you do sell it, so that a prospective purchaser can consider the cost of the maintenance in the price they are willing to pay."There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences." -P.J. O'Rourke
irishrigger 32 #3 October 8, 2011 if the date of manufacture is march 2007,it was due a service march 2011,not 2010. and airtec give you 6 months either side of that.so the latest date it could have bben used in sep 2011. if you try to switch it on now it will display due NOW for about 10 sec and then it should go to 0. i dont think you will have aproblem selling it,you just have to deduct the price for service to the new owner. rodger

In the booklet that I have attached there is written that the first maintenance to do was the 09/2010 and the latest 09/2011. But now the most important thing for me is that I can sell my cypres2 without maintenances. Thank you very much for the precious advices. Scrumpot 1 #5 October 11, 2011 QuoteIn the booklet that I have attached there is written that the first maintenance to do was the 09/2010 and the latest 09/2011. Right. "EARLIEST" effective date, and "LATEST" effective date(s). Precisely consistent with what Rodger just posted as being 6 mos PLUS or MINUS its actual anniversary date of March 2011. It is appropriate to get it's 1st 4 year due service done, and thereby "re-set its airworthiness date" as early as 9/2010. It goes (went) out of date, effective 9/2011. You both are saying the exact same thing(s). FWIW.coitus non circum - Moab Stone
supersky 0 #6 October 11, 2011 Ah ok...You're right! I tought that 6 mounths of tollerance were only for when the Cypres dead at all... instead how you say it's the same thing also for maintenance ... Thanksfly free
