Oh my goodness. You think that the goat is treated unfairly. If you read the original post as well as my reply to your post carefully, you will notice that I agree. I feel sorry for the goat. But the thread was not about the goat at all.

It may or may not come as a surprise to you, but the majority of the people out there in the world would eat the last koala bear given the opportunity. Why? Because they are hungry.

Most of us think it is cruel to tie a goat's feet up and wear it like a rucksack. The majority of the people here are just yanking your chain. The guy you should be trying to convince of your viewpoint is the guy on the bicycle.

Good luck with that :)

yes i know im completely mis quoting you here.... but it flowed so nicely. I saw some strange shit in Venezuela... but nothing so cool. I laughed my ass off at that picture... but we somehow turned it into a pity party for the goat.

for the record I have eaten snake, frog, bison, rabbit, squirill, goat, cow, pig, chicken, turkey, fish, shellfish, and kangaroo, and loved it all.... but no koala....

I guess im rambling here so im gonna try to wrap it up.. have we gone so far that we cant take a picture for face value? can we not just enjoy the levity of a situation with out anlyzing the political correctness or the environmental impact of said photos? :D

but maybe ive had too much to drink too early? :$

Add to the list: squid, octopus, ants(the crunchy chocholate covered kind), dove, pheasant, a fly, some other unidentified bugs(used to have a motorcycle), rat, crawfish, fungus, quail, duck, goose, lobster, crab, and a grubb (won five bucks on that one).

well...it all depends on how you look at it...if done for a long period of time...you get enough "bodily fluids" exchanged to make it worth while....

Well, now, the request was for "in the current state." I'll bet that's still Maryland B|

I beg to differ M'lady...
"Current State" didn't refer to geographical location...
I do believe we wanted to see before and after pics, but hopfully we kust won't need the after pics...those plascisized ones don't really do it for me.
Natural is better.

It is a bear. In my home language it is called a "Koalabeer" which translates as Koala bear. What's more, it looks like a bear. And they do exist.

Ever seen one of these?

(from the above)

"The drop bear, or Pangkala as its known as by the aborigenies, is smilar to the koala. It has the same basic shap of the koala except it is about 8 foot tall, it has a lethery back-side, long razor sharpe claws and has 40cm long incisor teeth. The drop bear hunts by sitting in a tree until a victim walks under it. The drop bear would then fall out of the tree onto its victim, breaking its neck. If the drop bear misses it would them use its long claws to kill the victim. The drop Bear hunts in packs, with upto 4 bears in one tree at a time! Once the victim has been killed the rest of the bears would then fall and fight over the kill. These fights can be made up of upto 30 bears."

Hope you don't get drop-beared!

Add to the list, Crocodile, hippo (really recomended) Giraffe (dry) Kudu, Wildebeest, Cape Buffalo, and multitudes of smaller antilope. Has no one eaten Oysters here? Snails? Must have - c'mon! Save the goat! Theres loads of food out there!

I think Oysters, muscles and clams were covered under shell fish...
I do want to add emu, ostrich, and alligator.

What makes Hippo so good, I heard that it was really tough and greasy.

Damn! Missed the Ostrich. Lots of it - with a cranberry sauce... very rare. If oysters are covered in "shelfish" then we shouldn't be saying Snake, Crocodile, aligator... we should just say "reptiles"

The list would be really short and everyone would have eaten everything!

Hippo is not tough and greasy. Tasty. Juicy. Not tender, but no way is it tough.

Emu? Let me guess... Tastes like chicken? You know alligator does...:D
