AggieDave 6 #1 August 15, 2003 Curiosity got me, while reading more about the heatwave in Europe. I thought about putting "so hot stuff is cooking in my pants" on the poll, but then decided not too.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Zennie 0 #16 August 16, 2003 From about mid-June to mid-September it's 90-95 degrees pretty much every day. We get a few days where it gets up to 103-105. Considering that we have relative humidity values of around 75%, that results in heat indexes over 160. - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon

Zennie 0 #18 August 16, 2003 I found a nice set of maximum heat index forecast maps. Looks like 160 may be a little high (I just plugged the numbers into an online calculator), but we're looking at 105 tomorrow and it's been noticeably cooling off around here lately. - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon
