If there are software evolution, it is because there are some minor hardware improvements no more. So there isn't an available software update at this time. Access the version through the start up menu at info. Remember these are only the vigil 1s and are somewhere around the 2005 year. Now don't quote me on this, but IIRC there were some issues with the units having a bit of a hair trigger in em. That said ive know of 6 of them that work just fine ....so far.....
