Muenkel 0 #26 August 5, 2003 Why can't we blame Bill? He's already proven he's a fraud by driving that big gas guzzling extendo van. I bet that thing only got 7 mpgs. I say blame Bill...dammit!!! And eventually he'll respond with something like he rigged it to be a hybrid and it got 429 mpgs and was powered by solar energy. _________________________________________ Chris

wmw999 2,439 #29 August 5, 2003 Actually, his van is the world's smallest RV, which gets significantly better gas mileage than equivalently-equipped ones. So it's a hotel as well as a vehicle. I think he said it gets almost 20 miles to the gallon on the highway. Of course! Roadtrek Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. AggieDave 6 #33 August 5, 2003 Taken from the company's website: Quote A 190 can get about 16 to 18 mpg (13-15 L/100 Km). That's with the cruise control set on 60mph! So in real life, BillV would be averaging about 13-15 or less on the highway, still doing 60-70mph. With a vehicle that heavy, being that diesel isn't offered, going 70mph or faster, the mpg would be closer to 10mpg then 15mpg. Sounds fuel efficent to me... So yeah, looking at their website, it does get "almost" 20mpg according to what its rated to do, BUT in real life, the mpg is going to be lower.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Course all I need to do is fill it up with air.....I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
