Steel 0 #51 August 4, 2003 QuoteOh boy!! here we go: Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, J.Lo, Mariah, Shania, Madonna and ANY rap group ---------------------------------------------------- I was thinking any rap group as well. I will agree the other ones you mentioned suck too except Madonna. On a personal scale (lack of morals political statements) I hate her without a doubt. But I think some of her music is actually pleasant to listen to.If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. bvsdjumper 0 #52 August 4, 2003 QuoteThere is a drinking game that goes with the song Roxanne, everytime he says either Roxanne or red light, you take a drink. For me, there's no amount of alcohol that could make me enjoy that song. --ArtSky-div'ing (ski'div'ing) n. BlueEyedMonster 0 #56 August 5, 2003 Connect the Dots by Peewee Herman. I HATED that show, but that damn song got stuck in my head forever. It can usually be found playing in my mind on the ride up to altitude and many other times.
BBKid 0 #57 August 5, 2003 I'm soooo relieved I'm not the only person who loathes Dylan with a passion! A lot of his songs are probably really good, when covered (Jimi's All Along the Watchtower springs to mind), but a man who sounds like my first fart of the day does not a good vocalist make! But, I've always loved Metallica - soft rock and new stuff all included. Can't really listen to ...And Justice For All though, production sucks, but the songs themselves are great, especially live. I also loathe Coldplay, Travis, and any new band toted as being "rock and roll" but who play bland, quiet, acoustic numbers which carry political comment. Rant over! Zenister 0 #62 August 5, 2003 almost anything becomes annoying when the radio runs it into the ground, even bands/songs i really like... music could live without lately Counting Crows. -didnt singing eunuchs go out of fashion a few hundred years ago?? 80% of Country music. Repetition of tired cliche's and slow death by 4/4, sometimes i wonder if they dont give Nashville rhythm sections frontal lobotomies.. Western i like, but who hears that anywhere anymore?? 80% of Rap music. except the 20% that understands melody or at least melodic rhythms____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. TitaniumLegs 8 #65 August 5, 2003 Rammstein Weak lyrics. Amazes me how people think stuff in foreign languages is so cool. Write, sing and publish the same thing in English and it would just be lame. Besides the lame lyrics, the rest is just noise. (>o|-< If you don't believe me, ask me.

livendive 8 #67 August 5, 2003 I can't limit my answer to one song/band! Band types - pop, country, "hip hop", but especially boyband thingamajigs like nsync Specific bands - CCR, nsync, boys2men Worst song - "There's a tear in my beer" The depth to which I hate that song cannot be described in mere words. Push 0 #68 August 5, 2003 Aside from the obvious teeny-bopper pop, one of the songs that annoy me the most but are popular is Gob - Give up the grudge. I listen to The Edge in the car almost all the time because they actually play good music - Audioslave, The Dears, Matt Good (some people may disagree that it's good music), etc. They also play this song by Gob, and they play it ALL THE TIME. It goes something like this: Give up the grudge, Shut your fuckin mouth, Why you gotta judge Everybody but yourself. Whine, whine, whine, whine. There is actually a line in it that says "I guess 90k a year buys nothing but complaints". Complained the radio rock star. The song has been on the top chart for something like 2 months now. Guess noone sees the irony. On a positive note, check out Hawksley Workman - Anger as Beauty. May be a little hard to find, but you won't be sorry. -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. Muenkel 0 #71 August 5, 2003 What is it about Celine Dion that everyone can't stand? I mean, from a musical point of view she really is an extremely talented singer but she annoys the shit out of so many...me included.
