Jessica 0 #1 July 30, 2003 I am probably adopting a rabbit from this rescue group. Want to help me pick one out? Right now I think I want Honey. ClickySkydiving is for cool people only
LadySkyDIve 0 #2 July 30, 2003 Check out the black eyeliner on Babette! I'd get her just for that! I also like Hazel - I'm partial to white stripes down the nose - just like my cat! Honey's cool looking too though!

Laurel 0 #6 July 30, 2003 Babette is sooooo glamorous! I love her. I can just imagine all the cute little outfits I could put her in. But I also think Zoe looks so soft!!! Mainly, I think it's funny that your name is Jessica and you are getting a rabbit. Remember Jessica Rabbit? skymama 37 #8 July 30, 2003 Butterscotch is pretty cute too, and look what they say about her: I am a Very Sweet Bunny, according to everyone at the animal shelter. I would rather be petted than eat! Less food = more jump money. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Laurel 0 #9 July 30, 2003 That is a very sad poem, but I bet most bunnies are happy that the 6 year-old isn't playing with them as much since children have a tendency to squeeze the bunnies too hard. Bunnies are good pets for adults. Dogs are more resilient and are good for the kiddies...................................................................... Jumpervint 0 #19 July 30, 2003 Here's a good place for info: http://www.rabbit.org/. Now the down side. I spent an hour and a half last night picking maggots off one of our rabbits. They get this condition called fly strike (maggots live on their bottoms, spreading from there.) I notice that the rabbit isn't in the garage (where there's another sickly bunny) so I assume that it died after I left for the dentist this morning and my wife has buried it already. She may have taken it to the vet, but I doubt it. Indoor bunnies chew on EVERYTHING. They especially love speaker wires and curtains. They can be house trained, though. Out doors, they love to dig. And unless you handle them a lot, they do run when you even try to pet them. Me, I'lll be glad when we're out of bunny pets. Vint. . . . . "Make it hard again." Kris 0 #22 July 30, 2003 Jessica, this isn't the dark ages of medicine anymore. They have blood tests for this now.
