Just wait... I'm not going to let my PWing numbers slip much at the boogie either :D

I'll be posting jump by jump updates... letting you know the skyvan is on load 20 at noon while the Casa's are on load 10 each while Mullins is pushing load 30  I'll be sure to take and post lots of pictures of skydives and partying and POST them all day every day... let the torture begin! B|

And if someone will loan me a wireless card for my laptop, I'll post on the days I get wrangled into working daytime registration. Camera and all, lol!

OK, computer geek show your brain time.

Topic is wireless notbook cards.

Question is: what are the differences in the wireless notebook cards one finds in the stores from one another in regards to wireless G band, B band and does 256 bit encryption make a card better than a 128 bit card?

bonus question: does the cards ability to handle more kbs make it a more attractive option or is this more eye candy?

G cards also do B - it is backwards compatible. The more Kbs is usually better - but it has to be compatible with the access point (AP). If you have a G AP and a B card, your card should work if the AP is allowed to have B clients. In theory, all G cards should work with any B AP.

The higher the encryption the better - but almost any encryption can be hacked if you know what you are doing.

You can also get a card that does all three bands (A,B, and G) which should allow you to work on any AP you have access/rights to.

I went with the G card since I have yet to find that many A AP out there.

Let me know where to get one, and you are welcome to mine. Afterall, you'll already be in depth to me for pack jobs, and that's the way I like itB|

Knowing Michael, he's probably got about a dozen spares laying around.

Now, let's talk about this depth stuff....;)

Don't know about that, but he does have purple toenails!! :)

mine were multiple colors almost a year ago.

Toe make a good calendar, peanut taught me that.

Seriously, he painted everyone toenails. One per day, for each day they were there. I though it was a funny joke, but he said trust him, I'd need them.

Well, into the convention a few days someone asked me what day it was. I just stood there, dazed. I had no clue!

Sooo, i looked down at my toe, and counted. 4! Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.

Monday! I told the guy it was Monday, I was right, and without the polish I would have had no clue!

The WFFC is surreal. Time seems to stand still while you are there. It seems like you blink and it's time to go home.

In other words, why would anyone not want to go?

I will be there from tomorrow, until, well, untill all of you have gone home, and I have picked up all of the junk left behind...it gets kinda interesting. If garbage could talk.......

Hey Gimp, come help me set up tents on Fri and Sat, and I'll feed you on Sunday, oh yea, and probably a little bit in between too, K? Look me up as soon as you arrive, I'll be on the ground, or in the office, or at the manifest trailer, or the rv park, but I WILL be there.......

well unless you are setting up the tents next friday and saturday it may be hard for me to help since i am arriving this sat night. but whatever is needed help with after i do show up i will be more then willing to help with.

Amazingly, there is not a single wireless card in the house...I don't have a laptop now so there isn't the need yet.

But you still haven't answered my question, what is a wireless card and where do I get one?
I want that Rev. Jim guy so in depth to me he can't see straight:ph34r:

it was discussed last night in the pub that as iw ill not be at the convention, those in attendance are supposed to borrow the inflatable blond from the hellfish and refer to it as virtual stacy all week long. it is to go on at least one skydive and never have an empty bottle. thank you for your time.
