Sabre 120 stolen after cutaway at Skydive Oregon

Recommended Posts

My Sabre 120 was stolen after a cutaway at Skydive Oregon on the late afternoon/evening of Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the Pro Swooping Tour and Northwest Jumpfest. The cells are the following colors (left to right or right to left):

black
aqua
magenta

It's the canopy in my avatar image thingy. Associated missing items (for identification):

White kill-line 28" ZP PC and 9' bridle
Day-glow yellow freebag and day-glow yellow reserve PC with red pop-top
Wings risers and d-bag

Serial number is pending. I'll have it soon. It was manufactured in, I believe, 1995.

Any info, please PM or e-mail me.

Thanks,
Steve

Long story, but the Harleys definitely don't have it. The old man, Ron Harley, holds a grudge against his neighbors, and that's about it. Outside that, they're a pretty good lot.

damn, that at least would be the easiest to get back..

when i landed off yesterday i passed 4 guys with 4 wheelers that were out picking berries, I didnt see a canopy with them though, and they 'seemed' pretty cool gave me directions on the easiest way to get back on the DZ..

i hope someone just picked it up and hasnt returned it to the DZ yet..

I'm hoping is not a whuffo, who might use it to cover his/her busted ass car. >:(>:(>:(>:(:P

That's not right, regardless of who took it.

I'd rather it be stolen by a whuffo than a skydiver. I'd rather not have to be too concerned about what's on the ground when I'm in the air.

This sort of theft isn't too uncommon, unfortunately. Check out the stolen gear database and look at main canopies. Several of them were swiped after a cutaway.
