I also can't play like ANY of the movies, cause Quicktime has almost locked up my computer 3 times & MS player doesn't work (or some random thing that pops up to play movies, but can't) - pphthhttap wanna throw it out the window. what do they expect me to do here? I worked for a company that blocked the mail.yahoo.com, so I just started checking my mail in the Australian and British Yahoo sites. :) There is a way around everything. More than half of the links posted here are filtered due to "sex" or "adult content", and I can't play any of the movies, either! However, I can listen to the movies, which is weird; I should be able to get the picture... pilotdave 0 #17 July 24, 2003 Yeah the company I worked for a couple summers ago blocked TONS of sites including every email site they could find. I did find one that worked, AOPA member email. I could check my school email account through that one too. That company wouldn't even let me use the company email accont to email outside of the company. Blocked FTP and telnet too. Where I work now isn't too restrictive. Can't view Fark.com. Haven't run into too many other problem sites though. I do know they monitor internet usage like hawks here though. With a few mouseclicks, an administrator could get a list of every website i've been to and every file i've downloaded... ever. I try to keep my internet usage to a minimum because I know they watch so carefully (and browsing the net all day is grounds for firing), but I'm a member of the internet generation and I need some internet on a daily basis.
