SadSue 0 #107 July 20, 2003 This post is to the general population in this thread. First of all I would like to say thanks, to the people who spoke positivley of me in this post. I'm also an AFF student on level 7 now, and initally I did post an introduction to who I am in the Intro Thread. I have met tons of people on here that are cool and I'm sure I'll run into them at some point soon ata DZ somewhere one day... maybe soon. I would like to clarify, that I have never attacked anyone on here at anytime... I simply defend myself when I am attacked. I don't hold grudges either, and I generally chat in here in a lighthearted manner. I personally don't feel it nessessary to put ever jump I do in my profile or even to elaborate on what I have done... although I do rememebr replying to some threads about various AFF stages and my time in the wind tunnel. So here I am in Talk Back. As I look thru the threads posted I dont see very many that are directly related to skydiving. It is more of a social scene in here, I see it as a way to become aquainted with the personalities behind the skydivers. I realise that I may seem unusual in my approach and humour to some of you... I cant say I feel bad about that, I just am who I am. However I am not a milicious person and for those of you who read me that way... you probably won't find me any different in real life. I'll be sure to post when I graduate my AFF and report about the first jump I do alone, and then from there I will be able to post in other parts of this forum. But for now I am here. Since I have never exited a plane without an instructor so far, I feel it would be inappropriate to start posting in freeflying or rigging .....LOL. Thats IT from me, Does anyone want some popcorn? I'm proud of you, Sue for being on Level 7. My how time flies! I am serious about meeting in San Diego next week if you are still coming. Even if you are restricted to solos, we can at least be on the same load and chat in between jumps. (I don't mind doing solos!) I also highly recommend jumping at Elsinore, my home DZ, if you want to go out that way as the people are quite friendly. Edited to add: So many things make me uncomfortable that I don't have time to post them all, but one big one is a lack of privacy or invasion of my personal space. I'm frightened that they're standing there judging me. Also, I find it really hard to take compliments from men/women regarding my appearance.
