Start out with a 1lb bag of them... Pick out the green ones and save them until last... then stuff a huge handful in my mouth and chew, swallow, repeat until the bag is empty.

How do you eat your M&M's?

Slowly.

I open the bag with great finesse, making sure nothing important is caught on an edge. Sliding a finger down into the darkness, the smell of chocolate lifts to my nose, and titillates my senses.

As my finger passes over the hard shell candy, the silkiness is tantalizing. I fish a candy out, and balance it ever so gently in my palm, and slowly lift it to my mouth, placing it on the tip of my tongue. Then I pull the candy into my mouth, and swirl it around. I suck just hard enough to get the candy shell to crack.

Once I find the fissure, I lick it precisely there several times, coaxing the first of the melting chocolate out. After I have done this long enough to get the flavor, I fold my tongue around it, and just hold it there, pulsing it. And then, then the chocolate has been warmed enough, and comes exploding out of the shell, filling my mouth with it's stickiness, flooding my tastebuds with chocolate.

And then, I do this over and over, until it's all gone.

Like I said, slowly.

I just try to halve the buggers with my teeth. Then the chocholate melts and I crunch up the candy shells. Or I try to make the shell dissolve and leave the chocholate to melt by itself...I kinda make it a game.

As for the green ones, they are pure sexual chocolate. I prefer to overdose on them all at once, and not dilute them with the other colors.

blue & red ones are bad... so are green now that i think about it. but, if you eat 2 together, not of teh same color... the taste is better. tan & brown are the best =- gosh, wish they'd bring the tan back . I like to eat the hard candy shell off and then suck on the inner soft chocolate until it melts all over my mouth. but that's only the best if the shell came off perfectly.

otherwise, take a HUGE handful, toss in mouth, crunch up & suck on till it all dissolves. mmmmm, dammit - i was avoiding a chocolate craving all day long... now the pull of the vending machine is so strong!

skittles & miken' ikes, are best when mixing 2 different colors as well - but for a different reason.
