lawrocket 3 #3 July 10, 2003 It's so great they are back together again. One of my favorite concert moments was being there for the soundcheck when they played Santa Barbara in 1996. I opened the door for mike Gordon, and he said "Thanks." I remembered thinking, "My God! Such big sound from such little dudes!" I remember being very surprised at how short they were. But, Trey is a God! My wife is hotter than your wife.

dterrick 0 #6 July 11, 2003 DAMN I missed it - was at SFO till 7 PM after a long travel day from Canada, eh. As I waited for United to supply me with my luggage (they so thoughtfully sent it along, perhaps in first class, but on a later flight ) I read of that concert in the WHERE! magazine.... - The do "Riders on the Storm" better than Jim did.... eh, maybe next trip -Dave Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friend (Lennon/McCartney)

mattlcom 0 #8 July 11, 2003 Quote Gork who in the hell is phish? Phish is a band from Vermont and, not unlike the Grateful Dead, have a very dedicated, occassionally "intoxicated" following. I went to twelve of their concerts in '95 alone, leading up to the Fourth of July at Sugarbush. Those were some phine times. Drive me to firenze. -MattL--- "An intellectual snob is someone who can listen to the William Tell Overture and not think of The Lone Ranger." -- Dan Rather
crapflinger2000 1 #9 July 11, 2003 Phish was cool, played some cool stuff, our seats were not optimal for sound quality (I will take lawn seats ANYTIME from now on).... Very diverse crowd of folks out there..... Oysterhead at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley was better I thought.... __________________________________________________ What would Vic Mackey do?
