LouDiamond 1 #29 July 6, 2003 CCheck it!! The Raeford crew made a 8 way Flock and then finished the day with a 9 way flock with Jari. So far we have been putting at least a 6 way out on just about every load. The flock is growing big time at Raeford. Jari blessed off on me and I am now a BMI(insert motivational music here) I have since converted 3 people to the flock with one getting trained today. I am also happy to announce that 3 of the 4 I have trained are women, so the flock is becoming more female friendly every day now Today looks like another awesome day and the new birds are hitting it like a crack addict hits the pipe. DaGimp 0 #31 July 6, 2003 Well my weekend at Raeford is over, awsome jumping. I did RW, FF, a few rafts, and even went into the BM suit a few times. I guess I was LD's one guy he trained but was an awsome ride. I was also in the 9-way flock with Jari......they looked great from below. We also did a DZ.commer 12-way Hybrid that was also my 300th and James O's welcome home from the desert jump. What a weekend, and im sad to see it go but the party will continue tonight im sure. sunnydee123 0 #33 July 7, 2003 Well I am back home in Florida after yet another fun trip "away from home"....Met tons of great people, ran into some old pals (Trevor you sneaky little thang), had some AWESOME sky dives, made my first Casa jump(s), did my first rodeo and it was a birdman rodeo no less (thanks for the AWESOME ride Kev ), was talked into being a "guinea pig" for body shots (yup - another first ...love ya Pyke ) and got to pie Amish (MattM) with some yummy Florida Whipped Cream and then kiss it off his young non-smiling little face just before I left....it was perfect! sunnydee123 0 #37 July 7, 2003 If anyone knows how I can possibly get a copy of the DZ.Com jump we did Sunday can ya please let me know.....I'd really appreciate it I know Trevor was on the jump and probably got video (but it takes him months to get ya stuff ( - hugs Trev) and I think Golden Knight "The Instigator" Dave also got video. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE with sugar on top! I also have to give a big thanks to Steve Lee for the unplanned but KICK ASS jump. DaGimp and I were making a jump, he asked if he could come, we did a cool exit from the Casa and lost DaGimp but this still somewhat newbie freeflyer was determined to maintain her sit and "hang". I THINK he might have been trying to offer me some docks (still not there yet) but we were really close so I did a 360 and he followed then he did a backflip and I tried it. GOOD STUFF! I can't even TELL YOU how excited I was when I came down. It was a big deal to me, especially since he was headdown most of the time. Just had to tell him thanks (even though he was probably clueless as to how much it meant to me). Besides my birdman rodeo - that was one of the next best jumps for me and it was totally unplanned. Well, I'm made it back safely...in fact - in true skydiving style - I still had plenty of daylight left when I drove past SDMonroe - so I pulled in and caught the sunset load!!! This weekend was absolutely SPECTACULAR!!! All the folks in my office now certify that I'm crazy - 'cause all I can now talk about is this thing called "Flockin'". WOW!!!!! Warning....BirdMan jumps are skydive CRACK and should only be attempted if you're fully prepared to lie, cheat, or steal your way into jumping a suit from then on!!! Did a 9-way flock with Jari and as he passed underneath me - I smacked his wing!!NOICE!! I know it's not official, but I'm claiming that as my first dock!! (what would you know Kevin??!!) Hung out with SunnyDee and is she ever a girl to know!!!(and she's a hottie too, but I wasn't looking) Fozchek has a mouth and wit like a razor blade!!! If her green eyes don't kill you - her smile will!!Got the total hook-up from PhreeZone on the BM jump and I am forever in debted!!! You'll always have a drink on the bar if I'm there Phree!! Kevin922 and Blair700 were in full flockin' effect this weekend.....including pulling off a wicked night BM (Kevin put glow sticks in his wings...see his site) and the video of it was sweet!!! LouDiamond and I had some interesting combat BM exits, but that boy can fly his BM ass off!!! (guess I have to now say he can fly his BMI ass off!!!!!CONGRATS - you're totally with it, dude!) Basically - all weekend I couldn't stop smiling!!! Couldn't stop while jumpin'....and certainly didn't stop after jumping either! This was a great party, great event....and once again...I can claim profoundly..... THEY ARE NOT SUCKIN' AT RAEFORD!!!! I just want to know when TonyT is going to get that put on a Raeford shirt.......I'm placing my order on that shirt now!!! I thinking long-sleeved...with WE DO NOT SUCK! on each sleeve!!!NOICE!! so much to say from this weekend, but I should stop here for now.....must work. More jubilation later on!!!
