sunnydee123 0 #1 July 3, 2003 I am just curious of the weather since according to "my seeing", it is not looking favorable for skydiving in the North Carolina area. I KNOW - I KNOW....is the weather guy ever right? But I am supposed to get on the road and drive almost 11 hours to skydive and if it is going to be shit weather, I might rethink it. Can someone help me (honestly).....thanks gang Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...
Brisco 0 #2 July 3, 2003 Not sure if the 4th is going to be jump-able weather or not, but Saturday is looking pretty good. Brisco Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
sunnydee123 0 #3 July 3, 2003 A bit more info for those who can help.....I would get in to NC LATE tonight and then have to leave Sunday afternoon. Is it going to be worth all the time in the car? Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

colbrodie 0 #5 July 3, 2003 The weather forecasts look like typical NC summer forecasts to me - chance of afternoon thunderstorms or scattered thunderstorms. It is kinda like Florida - we might have a thunderstorm late in the day when it heats up or we might have clear blue skies. I don't think the forecasts look negative at this point but I'm not driving 11 hours either.....however, you may contact Pyke (aka Kiwi ) about his soggy Memorial Day weekend at Raeford. I think he will assure you that we will have a great time rain or shine!

You can hit NC on the way BACK to FL.
 andy2 0 #8 July 3, 2003 like every evening in the summer in NC, expect storm clouds and possibly rain!
