CanuckInUSA 0 #27 June 30, 2003 2:2:1 One airshow at my home DZ airport which shut down skydiving activity for the weekend as well as one volleyball tournmament played in on Sunday. Two jumps snuck in on Friday afterwork before the airshow. Beer owed and paid for doing my 300th on Friday. Jumpervint 0 #28 June 30, 2003 1:1:0 Spent a beautiful Friday evening and Saturday at the dz observing a FJC as part of the coaches progression. Watched 6 lifts go Friday (without me) and 14 on Saturday (w/o me) before I finally got on the last one of Saturday. Not the sunset load, because there weren';t enough jumpers there to keep the plane flying that long. We were done by 6:00. Yech.. . . . . "Make it hard again." FliegendeWolf 0 #38 June 30, 2003 The thing is, he's the S&TA at the dz. He's incredibly safe, incredibly meticulous, and I know I'm in good hands. He's also incredibly moody, irritable, and, well, military. Won't be an issue for much longer. Once I get my A (and of course, it is he who will be administering the oral quiz and probably the check dive), I won't need to interact much with him anymore (especially since I'm moving).A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All
SkymonkeyONE 4 #39 June 30, 2003 0:14:0 The weather mostly cooperated, though we did have one monsoon blow through. I did a mix of tandems, AFF, BirdMan with Lou Diamond, MattM, and A.C., and even some freeflying with Padawan and Droop. Swooped the piss out of my Velocity 79 and my Sabre2 97, and went through the airblades under a Sigma 370 with a passenger. Someone had a party off the dropzone and had like eight cases of leftover beer, so we obliged him by drinking the majority of it. Lou Diamond is Jonesing for a SkyFlyer 3 now very badly after jumping mine about six times. Chuck

So, his Mom and sister are coming to get it tomarrow, I hope they go thru all his shit and it really pisses him off. 2 jumps sunday at Skydive Houston, because I worked part of the day Saturday, and got tired of sitting at home sunday, Justified spending money by finding a jump ticket in my log book, so one was free, right?. Clownburner 0 #46 June 30, 2003 400:1:0 400 Miles driven to/from a 'company' camping trip, had to go right past the DZ twice before I got to actually stop there on Sunday and squeeze in one jump, just in time to see the last of the 84-way attempts at Perris, and say hello to Skybytch. LouDiamond 1 #47 July 1, 2003 It was all good. Got about 10 birdman jumps and 3 jumps on Chuck's Sabre2 97 and 6 jumps on his SF3. The 97 is smoking fast and the SF3 is the BOMB.
