freeflyguy 0 #1 June 26, 2003 I know it was a cloudy miserable mess last weekend. So just to cheer you all up, and thank you for making the effort to come out, in spite of the weather, I thought I would post a couple of video frame grabs that showed what it looked like on Tuesday. I hope this makes you feel better ---------------------------- bzzzz

skymama 37 #10 June 30, 2003 QuoteI thought I would post a couple of video frame grabs that showed what it looked like on Tuesday. Sniff, sniff...WAAAAAAAAAAH! So, it was freezing and overcast while I was in WA. I went to CA where it was 114 degrees when we pulled up to the dz, and I heard reports that it was beautiful and in the 80's back in WA. I came back from CA to WA tonight, and it's supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow. Washington hates me! Amazon 7 #11 June 30, 2003 Yeah but us residents like you anyway Andrea.. You should have been here yesterday.. 80's clear... Could see Oregon to the south Canada to the north and all the way out to the Pacific Ocean out the Strait of Juan deFuca... every one of the islands all along the Puget Sound and eht Strait of Georgia up in Canada was visible.... not to mention seeing just about every snow capped peak in the Cascades. And we had the wafting smell of alder smoke on fri and sat.. as I smoked salmon ...mmmm I am just about sick of eating smoked salmon at this point. WHAT a weekend...WOW Amazon You need to come on back out sometime... or at least come to this end of the sound...
