skybytch 273 #1 June 23, 2003 Now that I have time to read for hours on end it's time to broaden my horizons again. First subject - religion and philosophy. I'm currently reading The Four Agreements, the Bhahavad Gita and Walden (Thoreau - why didn't I read this years ago?!?!). So once again I need your help. What books/authors/philosophers would you recommend to someone who has never studied the subject?
CrazyIvan 0 #2 June 23, 2003 If you're reading the Bhahavad Gita, try to read the Vedas (4 books)__________________________________________ Blue Skies and May the Force be with you.
happythoughts 0 #3 June 23, 2003 The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy teaches people perspective. It isn't necessarily a philosophy book, but it does teach you to look at something from a different point of view and that is important.
