jfields 0 #51 June 23, 2003 Three jumps. Visited a new dropzone (Louisa, Virginia). The other was for my first really off-dz landing. On my first load at the new dz, a bad spot put the whole load off-dz. I passed over some powerlines (with plenty of room) and landed with 3 other people in a farmer's field. I mean, way off DZ. Over the river and through the woods off. Literally climbing over fences, jumping creeks and trudging through swampy fields. Everyone on the load was fine, if muddy, so it was all good. SkymonkeyONE 4 #58 June 23, 2003 0:14:negative three It was beautiful weather so I worked my ass off. I ran two loads of night jumps last night for three delinquent jumpers and made them give me a case of beer apiece for keeping me from the monkey fries and cockatillios. It was DARK, but they all did fine. Chuck

Spent an hour looking for a chopped main with no success and got a tick! Won my first tennis match of the season - so all was well with the world by shut-eye time. Jumpervint 0 #64 June 23, 2003 1:3:0 Got to the dz late on Sunday with questionable clouds. One low one on a student load - freaked out everyone on the ground because they thought my 15 second delay was the student and they were sure the student was headed for a Cypres fire. Then the clouds cleared and we got two to altitude. I always want more.. . . . . "Make it hard again."
