Weekend Numbers

Recommended Posts

:)
Three jumps. Visited a new dropzone (Louisa, Virginia). The other was for my first really off-dz landing. On my first load at the new dz, a bad spot put the whole load off-dz. I passed over some powerlines (with plenty of room) and landed with 3 other people in a farmer's field. I mean, way off DZ. Over the river and through the woods off. Literally climbing over fences, jumping creeks and trudging through swampy fields. Everyone on the load was fine, if muddy, so it was all good.

1 GREAT weekend at Aggieland
12 jumps
Don't ask how many firsts! God knows I owe more beer than I can keep track and did NOT pay up so have to go back some time and pay up. Wonder if anyone will mind if I come back....hmmm?!

*Firsts: First CRW, first down plane, first Cessna ride and jump, first Hybrid, first 12 way attempt (which I didn't make :(), first time to Texas, first Shiner, first 20 minute call pack job (yippy), first time leaving a DZ and actually having to choke back some tears :)
Thanks for the memories gang.....BIG HUGS!

Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

0:14:negative three

It was beautiful weather so I worked my ass off. I ran two loads of night jumps last night for three delinquent jumpers and made them give me a case of beer apiece for keeping me from the monkey fries and cockatillios. It was DARK, but they all did fine.

I had an amazing weekend!!

0:17:70 million

0 - nothing happening!

17 - many things accomplished this weekend. most will be listed in 70 million. did get some camera work in and some hop n pops.

70 million - Okay, where to start......got my DZ.com shirt in the mail. Got the long sleeve. (nioce!!!) 1st intentional cutaway. Had to have it for Tandem course. Went through and got my Strong rating this weekend! WhoooooHOOOOO! Finished all of the required course items and this coming weekend should be a lot of fun. Man what a great weekend. We had beautiful weather in NC for five days in a row! No beach jumps this weekend....I was to busy packing and jumping tandems...next weekend for sure. I'm still pretty jazzed about the tandem course. I owe so much beer it's just going to be cheaper to buy a keg!!! (forgot to add that I got an Orange County Choppers T from my mom and dad for a birthday present. Dad and I love that show!)

Did 2 jumps on Sunday marking my first F*^)in' day off in 3 weeks, but it was a great day and I had lots of fun!

Spent an hour looking for a chopped main with no success and got a tick!

Won my first tennis match of the season - so all was well with the world by shut-eye time.

Can't wait for Raeford....2 weeks baby!!

1:3:0 Got to the dz late on Sunday with questionable clouds. One low one on a student load - freaked out everyone on the ground because they thought my 15 second delay was the student and they were sure the student was headed for a Cypres fire. Then the clouds cleared and we got two to altitude. I always want more.

Hey Justin! I landed off with you.

My tennis shoes are now brown forever, despite a run through the washing machine. I hope my jumpsuit fares better when I wash it.

Hope you had a good time at our DZ.

I did. Everyone was very nice and I enjoyed visiting.

Come back and see us again sometime.

Will do! B|

[:/] Bummer. Try oxi-clean on your shoes. I'm sure your jumpsuit - being red- will fare better in the wash.

$16 jumps July 4,5,6. Good time to come and play. B|

You know that Steve guy, he's a jump whore;)

For me 2:3:0

3 jumps in two days of beautiful weather. But I did complete the first coach eval jump with Mustard.

Congrats on the eval jump. One down.
