SpeedRacer 1 #28 June 22, 2003 hmmm. It's good to hear all these opinions. I'm considering getting a flat screen. The CRT monitor I have now is taking up most of my desk. But from what you all are saying, maybe I should wait until the technology improves and/or the price comes down a bit. jceman 1 #29 June 22, 2003 I have ViewSonic 15"er on my desktop. After using my laptop for a couple years as my only computer, I had gotten used to the LCD screen, so when I got the desktop PC, it was a no-brainer for me. I don't do FPS games, and those on games I _do_ use I have not noticed any degradation; I really like having the ability to easily move the screen out of the way when I need to do some serious work on the desk. The fact that a 15" LCD screen has a much larger viewing area (about the same as most 17" RGB monitors) is also much appreciated. Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
