DanG 1 #26 January 27, 2012 Very experienced jumper (+4000 jumps) went in at Orange a number of years ago with a twisted ROL. Of course, pulling silver would have saved his life, but that's not what happened for whatever reason. I had two left handed Javelin Odysseys. When I wanted to sell them, I sent them back to the factory for conversion to right handed. You'd never know they weren't made that way originally. Moral of the story, even if a used rig has a bridle channel, it can be changed between left and right handed. It cost about $200 IIRC. - Dan G

I still have a couple of old rigs set up that way, don't jump them so never changed 'em. It was a bit of a hassle putting new Velcro on when it would get loose, and I saw a demo team member put a banner on OVER the bridle once...'Hey Bubba, THAT ain't gonna work'. But other than that no problems with it, I never twisted one, and it was a more 'natural' reach and throw...IMHO. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
