9400 feet fallen:3:1

3 clear and pulls, lowest at 2400ish, 4000 and 4800. Kinda owe beer since I've finally got the swoop distance and accuracy down to the point I did a high five mid swoop.

went to deland and did scott millers canopy course. learned a lot of little tidbits and got some good landing advice, amazing some of the things he picks up from the videos!

had a NASTY 4th jump. looked gorgeous out the door. got out, sweet rainbow in the distance. then BAM! sleet. wearing a sleeveless top, OUCH. then rain. couldn't see at all, dumped my chute after a good wave off and risers smacked me hard. i've got some nice black n blues. i could not really see what was happening in the rain, but after righteously beating me the opening settled down.pushed my helmet up so i could see better to land. oy.

hung out with clay in orlando, good tiem had by all. met tb99, fozcheck, and sunnydee as well.

Did a couple nice jumps. Saw Skymama, Stacy, Galen and met Sunnydee. All in all a very pleasant weekend for me.

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

Had a great weekend. Finally nailed the Meeker exit. :)

Way to go Cora! Can't say I know what a meeker exit is, but you'll have to teach me next time you're here.

As for me:

:):2 initial post-tunnel jumps:0

Oh My God. I cannot believe how much my flying has improved since spending last weekend at SkyVenture. It was just amazing. For anyone out there thinking about going to a tunnel camp- DO IT!!! I had no idea I could fly like this.

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Another Stellar Weekend of Skydiving Madness. Total was 10 Jumps, at the Geoff Peggs Memorial Boogie over At Kansas State University Parachute Club.

Between that and the Mullins Boogie Last Weekend, I'm about boogied out (financially, of course)

Three freefly jumps coached by Eli from the Flyboyz. It's amazing how much you can learn when your coach knows what he is talking about. Beer for jumping with the Flyboyz.

Great weekend.

Not bad for a Sunday when we started after 3 because the pilot was with his daughter for fathers day and then clouds rolled in. Turned out b-e-a-utiful though. So glad I got to jump I would have been a crabby SOB the rest of the week if another weekend was ruined by clouds. :)

Nice weekend! (unbelievably hot and sticky but oh well)

RW...assorted stuff from 4-ways up to a 16-way. (congrats to Drew for his 900th and Jenn for her 600th!)

And a sit jump. If you can call what I was doing a sit! I got sick of doing unintentional backflips and tried a stand. That was easier!

Completely missed the count and left the plane horribly late on one RW jump. Rear float isn't supposed to leave with the divers? ;)

I'm pooped and I'm in denial about actually having to work 5 days this week.

2 freefly jumps; I almost managed a stable sit. It's a challenge, but, man, RW is just so much easier right now that it's hard not to just stick to that. But I have to at least manage a stable sit, y'know -- a girl has her pride!

But I got a nice long motorcycle ride home in the rain, and discovered my rain suit leaks in the seat :D

2 Great coached jumps by Jay, really helped me with my stability issues. First jump of the day was pretty good but needed to bring my legs in a little.

2nd Jump, great exit, awsome stability the whole way through, did a turn or 2 and then dumped at 4500. Sweet canopy rides and almost unassisted approaches made for an awsome end to a even better day.

Jim, I hear you on the witdrawls. This is the first time I have jumped in 2 weeks and I was getting a little ansi

To ease the anxiety attacks I felt I was having I sat in on my buddies Yoga class 2 times this week. Can't say it completly cured my but it sure did help.

And that may be the scoop for next weekend too while I get ready for resigning from my current job while getting ready for my new job/training.;)

I'll be all over the 6-way poker run on the 28th though... :)
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
