Muenkel 0 #1 May 26, 2003 It is pouring rain out, so I figured I wouldn't waste a personal holiday today. I want to save as much time as possible to use during my aff and after progression. Anyway, there's not much to do at work so I am completely bored. Chris _________________________________________ Chris
CanuckInUSA 0 #2 May 26, 2003 Yup, I got Lumberg'ed all weekend by the whuffo boss. My only saving grace is that the weather hasn't been all that good here until now (I could be jumping my ass off at the DZ, but instead am stuck here at work). I did manage to get one jump in yesterday after work. So my streak of jumping every weekend since late January is still very much alive. Muenkel 0 #5 May 26, 2003 Coming to work was optional for me today. But I would have had to use a personal day. Since the weather totally sucks, and there are no usual Memorial Day BBQ's going on, I figured I would save the paid day off for later. You have certainly racked up a lot of jumps in such a short period. How far are you from your dz? CanuckInUSA 0 #6 May 26, 2003 Quote You have certainly racked up a lot of jumps in such a short period. How far are you from your dz? 20 minutes from home, 30 minutes from work. As far as racking up the jumps, I guess you could say that I'm addicted. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

Muenkel 0 #10 May 26, 2003 Quote I could think of worse problems to have (like being a workaholic who dies of a heart attack at the office). Yes, work stress is very dangerous. This is why I spend my work time post whoring. I'm also working on a way to include it in the Employee manual under ways to reduce stress.Chris _________________________________________ Chris
ralu 0 #11 May 26, 2003 I don't know if this counts... I'm into a two weeks assignment into another city. CanuckInUSA 0 #18 May 26, 2003 Quote8 hours pay because it's a holiday so that = triple time I guess I'm an idiot because I'm basically working for free today (I'm on salary). It's funny how companies are able to do this sort of crap to their people during challenged economic times. Sat. and Sun. are home repair and Monday I have to fly out early afternoon since I didn't buy the ticket until late on Friday. Hopefully the weather is this good next weekend.
