livendive 8 #26 June 13, 2003 I went to high school with "Josie Bisset" (actually Jolyn Heutmaker, the blonde from Melrose Place). Her best friend chased me for awhile and we all goofed off together in drama classes. If I'd known how "Josie" was gonna turn out, I'd have dated her friend just to get closer to her! :-) I use to hang out at a bar that the irritating guy "Larry" from Three's Company frequented. He seemed like an ass. Outside of those, I've met a porn star or two and quite a few pro athletes. All seemed pretty normal in passing. I came close to meeting Chris Cornell a few times, as I was dating a girl he'd recently dumped, but luckily never ended up in a room with both of them. She was psychotic and I'm sure it would have been ugly. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" (drink Mountain Dew)

Ducky 0 #32 June 13, 2003 Hmm well i have two different categories i suppose. There is a loooooooooooooooooong list of famous folks I have photographed, musicians and athletes. A not so looong list of peeps I have actually met. I have met, Jerry Garcia and oost of the Greatful Dead though not a fan just hsared a flight from San fran w/ them. The band LIVE numerous times. Sam Donaldson from NBC news. I went to elemenatry school w/ several of the guys from 3 Doors Down. Rapper Freak nasty used to hang out in a strip club I worked in, even funnier Clarence Carter's (of "strokin" fame) son dated one of the dancers at the same club. I have met the Neville brothers even sat on stage for the concert. There are others I am not recalling I'm sure, but that's enough for now. If I get round to it I will post some of my concert pics which include the likes of George Strait and Brad Paisley to Fuel and Garbage. kwakSometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. Rhett Akins Mark Wills Kenny Chesney Wade Hayes That is what happens when you live in a small town and the person responsible for the theatre likes country music. I had Delta Burke on one of my flights once, and I had an airbus of secret service guys for President Reagan one night. Boy do those boys like to party. SpeedRacer 1 #39 June 13, 2003 I also have met Edie Brickell (lead singer of New Bohemians). Back in 1988-89 she would occasionally come into my favorite pub in Allston, Massachusetts to see one of my favorite local bands at the time, the Candles. unlucky1 0 #47 June 14, 2003 I had the privilege of working at the Cleveland CLinic Foundation (although I hated the place), and there are probably too many to remember. I never was the type to be starstruck. I think the people i've met actually enjoyed "normal" conversation, and not the typical thousand questions that are usually asked of them. Here are just a few:(i did testing on all of these) Drew Carey (did his Stress Test) Senator JOhn Glenn and his wife (did their tests) The King of Egypt King of Saudi Arabia Crown Prince of Jordan (now the king) King Hussein of Jordan The pope of the Greek Orthodox Church The Admiral of the Egyptian Navy The King of Qutar Numerous other Prince/Sheik/ Princesses from the Middle East Jeb Bush Linda Carter Bernie Kosar (Browns) Vinnie Testaverde (QB) Numerous other professional players from the Cleveland Browns, Indians, Cavs, and Rockers Les Paul (along with an autograph) The "Bob Evans" (of restaurant fame)(he let me hunt on his property the following winter) Art Modell Al Lerner Pitts Pirates Owner People I've met at the local bar Mitchell's Tavern; alot of sports players hang out here cuz nobody bothers them: Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Cavs all-star)(lush..there almost every night) Alex Rodriguez (I sat drinking with him at the bar one night for about an hour and I didn't even know who he was) Jim Thome Omar Vizquel blah...blah...blah....too many to name Larry Wilcox ("Chips") Mr. T Don King Mike Tyson about 20 country singers: Vince Gill Pam Tillis Lorrie Morgan Alan Jackson Billy Dean Garth Brooks (met in Oklahoma) blah...blah...blah.... You'd be surprised what these peoples reactions are when you treat them like a "normal" person. Sometimes they are pissed (especially with royalty), but sometimes they are grateful.... I always figured that they put their pants on the same way as me... Blue Skies
