Preservatives made this country great

Recommended Posts

OK, don't know if the Whole Foods chain is everywhere, but it is one of those "Organic Everything" otter-scrubbing, tree-hugging store chains in CA where a roll of recycled TP costs $6...

Anyway, they actually do have good stuff there, but I buy this friggin bag of organic cherries... I guess "organic" really means "half of them are rotted and stinky".

So I paid like double what I can get them for in Safeway, and only got halfway edible stuff...

Same experience with some grapes I got there...

"Organic" has got to be the biggest scam in food history... if a few fishies die because some gunk runs off from a farm field into a stream... I frankly don't give a shit. Fuck the fishies, I want some edible friggin produce.

Bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

We have a few Whole Foods stores in NOLA and some of their shiznit is great - like their tea tree shampoo and their vegan frozen tostadas. But I don't buy into it all. I do like the idea of free range chickens because keeping them in tiny boxes their whole lives until they are slaughtered is mean. I don't eat veal for that reason, so why would we treat chickens that way? I want to cry now - thanks.:(

JT

Is not the amount of beer consumed with the food directly proportional to the amount of bowel towel required for proper hygene?

Nice hijack, by the way.B|
