riddler 0 #51 June 13, 2003 QuoteHey Ridder! You've been wanting to try my wingsuit, haven't you? Meet me at A-Basin at 8:30 Saturday morning. I'll bring my suit and my camcorder. No - I don't want to try your wingsuit, and I don't want to try your Diablo either You seem to delight in wanting to get me killed. I found out last weekend, I can't even land my Lotus 150. Someone help me - I need a few hundred more jumps! Quick!

nacmacfeegle 0 #55 June 13, 2003 photo shop dosent do videos... Yes it does its called rotoscoping, It interfaces quite nicely with Premiere, file>export>clip>as filmstrip..... Open filmstrip in Pshop, edit, re-import to premiere, render...et voila Sorry its the geek in me....-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. pyke 0 #56 June 13, 2003 Okay - I sincerely doubt that what I just watched was a editing masterpiece.... THAT WAS SOME OF THE SICKEST VIDEO I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!! I have had many discussions about skydiving with folks I work with...and I showed them all this to a collective response of, "DDDAAAAAAAMMMMMNNNN!!!!!" I'm telling you.....take the declination angle, factor in a flare potential to slow your speed enough, work out a 'ski-jump' type landing strip - have either rollerblades or "ski-feet" (of any variety) - and put a pool at the bottom for the landing....and VOILA! Flying will be revolutionized!! That shite was BADASS!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic
frenchyflyer 0 #57 June 13, 2003 Yeah Loic Jean-Albert is really amazing, he is seriously considering "landing" his wingsuit someday (well, the landing would more probably look like a snowboarder's badass fall on a steep mountain curve, but still he might be able to come out of it pretty much alive). Patrick de Gayardon was also considering landing one of his suits someday, too bad his sewing was so bad that he ended up screwing up his own gear by mistake. Look out for french skydivers!!! Gravitymaster 0 #63 June 14, 2003 I'm wondering if the part where he passes the skiers is really him flying the wingsuit or if it's the helicopter flying by. That would explain the sudden noise. The rest of it looks real.
bobsled92 0 #64 June 14, 2003 It would put it ALL in perspective if a video could have been shown: Exit to Landing. A stunt that big should easily have been well covered by 2 Helis to get it seen and credible._______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/

I seriously think that if his buddies woulda put like a dozen plastic sleds on that slope, he coulda landed right on one of them and just had a little ride down the rest of the slope.
