Luna 0 #1 June 13, 2003 My belief is that you get what you focus on, and so when you focus on what is going wrong in your life or what is bad, the hurt and the pain, you will get more of it. But, if you focus on what is going great, what is possible, what you really want, you will get more of that. With that in mind, I know that there are several people who have been having a very hard time, and frankly, everyone can benefit from this little exercise. Please answer the following question: What is going great in your life right now? What are you blessed with? What are you grateful for? Be specific, and if you don't think there is anything, THERE IS! Find it! At least ONE thing! I'll start: I am very grateful for some of the wonderful people that I have met here (hopefully you know who you are!). I just re-financed my mortgage, which is going to save an amazing amount of money per month, which should enable me soon to quit my job and find a job that I will enjoy. I'm also thankful for an amazing husband, and that my dog recovered from his illness and is feeling back to his old self. Okay, who's next? Glad to have a very nice girlfriend I'm really grateful for that $2200 tax return, too -- Toggle Whippin' Yahoo Skydiving is easy. I know the sexiest man alive, and what I've gotten to know about him so far is incredible! I get to jump this weekend and hang out with cool people. My grandma and my mom rock! We're going to start home shopping this month. I refinanced my condo and am saving a few hundred bucks a month. Plus the value has increased 30% in 2 years. I also have the most awesome dog, a great cat, and some other cool animals. I have a great family, a reliable car, and a job that is close by and pays well. My DZ family (Skydive Virginia) is full of wonderful people (and primates ) who have changed my life.
