RevJim 0 #1 June 13, 2003 Well, here I am, again, stuck at home. The weather is wonderful too, perfect jumping conditions. I should be at the DZ, but, shit, I can't. After the recent "problems" in the sport, I decided to not put off any longer a few things that needed to be done to my rig. Closing loop gromet service bulletin, check, gotta be done. Hard cable housings (metal, the ones in the rig, not the risers), check, need 'em. Not required, but I decided it's time. BOC pouch, yep, needed too. ROL is a good place for the beverage of choice for the beerset load, but my pilot chute ain't going there anymore. Ordered the BOC pouch and housings from Sunpath earlier this week, and am still waiting for them. tap, tap, tap, tap. Can't pack everything up without them.... Anyway, who else is bored out of their skulls this weekend?It's your life, live it! Have a tryout with a new band on Monday so I have to learn about 25 new songs by then... no major problem, just means being cooped up and having to listen to A LOT of cheesy dance tunes while figuring them out (not my favorite music style). But I'm gonna use the money from gigs to pay for my skydiving (at least that is the plan) so it's for a good cause. Then on Sunday I get to see my son for Father's Day...only bad thing is that my ex will be there also. Yeah, it's fine, we'll walk down the line. If the parts show up today (doubtful) there is a slight chance the rigs will be back together in time to get a jump or 2 in this weekend (more doubtful). Shouldn't be any problem having them ready by next weekend (will probably rain though-my luck).It's your life, live it!
