My dog is in the hospital

Recommended Posts

Little King Tut is our drop zone dog at Raeford. He goes to work to SKY KAT every morning. He and Billy Bob are great dog buddies at the DZ.

Yesterday evening a bad case of vomiting, diarrhea and you would not believe the gas this 18 lb. dog could produce, started. It appeared he found something to eat he shouldn't have.

Unfortunately the nausea, vomiting have not stopped. The vet kept him to hydrate him with IV therapy, a little IV sugar to give him energy and a medication to stop the nausia. After 150 ml, he is feeling no better.:(

Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts!

Princess and Yoda say "woof" too, and would like to know if there's any food he's left over. Food's food, after all...

Hope he's feeling better soon. It's scary when they're really sick.

If he got a hold of some :ph34r:fries or aviator leftovers - yes I can believe the gas! Billy Bob used to wake me up in the middle of the night with his potent poots! B|

You sure it wasn't chuckie?

:DYou're wrong...:D

Nope - wasn't Chuckie... smell was definitely coming from the floor where Billy Bob sleeps. He'd actually be awake just staring at me too! :S

Almost like he was taunting you. Animals are so silly that way.

Best wishes for your dog, I've had stuff like that happen to my dogs ever once in a while and what I do is give them charcole caps to absorb the bad stuff and pedilite to keep them hydrated. OTH if they have parvo it's a trip to the vet. Good vibes to King Tut.

Hugz to the little guy, and to you too. My little pup had back surgery a few months ago, and I know it's a really worrying time.

Thinking about you both.
