hooked 0 #17 June 8, 2003 Funny, the Pacific NW is have 90 degree days, yesterday and today!! It's nice for a change to see someone else get all the rain. Never fear though, our rain will be back. Actually, the weather we have had the last few days usually doesn't happen until late July or August. Sure hope some of this good weather returns for Skymama's visit! The otter and the porter were still flying when we left DeLand at 1:15... Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them? skymama 37 #20 June 8, 2003 QuoteHmm, sounds fishy to me, Andrea. The otter and the porter were still flying when we left DeLand at 1:15... Bwahaha, I swear it rained! I was at a pool party, and the kids swam in the rain and then the clouds stayed the rest of the afternoon. But, that was down near Orlando. Many times I've left my house seeing blue skies and haven't been able to jump once I got to Deland. Oh well, I don't care, I was taking care of 4 kids anyway, so it wasn't a jumping weekend for me.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

bkdice 0 #22 June 8, 2003 Skydive Virginia (in Louisa) was open this past Friday. They did 8 loads. I was stuck at home and have a terrible cold - so I did not get to indulge. We managed to get loads up last weekend too. So, things could be worse. I jumped 3 weekends in May. Just had to wait out all the crap! Patience...
