EricaH 0 #3 June 3, 2003 Aren't they suppose to go home (ie Canada) for the summer? Here in IL I believe they are keeping the cold weather round longer. There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. PMS #227 (just like the TV show)
Fireflyer 0 #4 June 3, 2003 they are ALL over the place here in pittsburgh. i think they came home their usual time and were like, 'what the hell is this?' - its been in the low 40s every night!
Guest #5 June 3, 2003 They (Canadian Geese) are the worst kinds of pests around here (Seattle), and they're protected. However, when I was at Green Lake the other day, the goslings were really cute. EricaH 0 #7 June 3, 2003 Jeez, are u saying that in pittsburgh you have to deal w/ them AFTER winter? @ least in Chicago they go away when it warms up; but it's only getting to the mid/upper 40's @ night. I hate those geese - can't wait to get outta this town! There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear. FliegendeWolf 0 #10 June 3, 2003 I agree ... Canadian Geese suck big. There are a bunch that hang out in the pond next to the music building at U of M and you cannot walk down the path by the pond (the only one that takes you back to campus from the music school) without having to dodge those nasty green land mines. I like animals, for the most part, but I keep having these fantasies about playing some kickball, if you know what I mean. There are also some ducks that hang out in the pond, but I don't have a beef with them. I like the ducks.A One that Isn't Cold is Scarcely a One at All

EricaH 0 #15 June 3, 2003 THAT would be a good one. But I'm guessing that since mine didn't accept the 22 inches of snow in one night a few years ago as an excuse, she's not gonna accept a few geese either. I'm in for that game of kickball There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear.
