skybytch 273 #15 May 19, 2003 Quote You still work? I still work. But! I'm so short I have to look up to see down. I'm so short I can sit on a dime and my feet won't touch the ground. I'm so short I can walk under a snake's belly. Not including the upcoming three day weekend... after today I have eight working days left. That's 64 hours of "work" time. Not sure I'm gonna make it. froglady 0 #16 May 19, 2003 Agreed, have been asked why I'm so quiet for the past couple of week. It's hard to explain to wuffos that without jumping life sucks. FrogLady
Gawain 0 #17 May 19, 2003 I just wanted to give you an update on my day so far. I left the office to go get some lunch. As I exited the building into the Sunny 70F with a gentle breeze from the south, I remembered your post of envy and had a chuckle. I then got in my car, rolled down the windows and opened the sun-roof and got my lunch. Walking from my car back to the office, in the Sunny 70F with a gentle breeze from the south, I remembered your post of envy and had a chuckle. As the saying goes..."Head west young man." Ronnie 0 #18 May 19, 2003 Yea, the 72 degree weather with clear blue skies, all with an ocean view, sure did suck this Saturday. I just hate skydiving in those conditions.
racer42 0 #19 May 19, 2003 Jeez...it's all blu skies and warm in south Texas. You don't have to go all the way to west coast. dgskydive 0 #23 May 19, 2003 Why is it that it seems the people by the door seem like they are afraid to fall out. It's the best seat in the house as far as I'm concerned. AHHHHHHHH!Dom
quade 4 #24 May 19, 2003 Depends on which ones you're talking about. My goal in life, especially when it starts to get hot like right now, is to be the last person on and the first person to climb out of the plane. My preferred seat is the one right by the door. That also means, in my mind at least, that I'm in charge of when it goes up and down and what the conditions are -- like, hey buddy, take your freekin' seat belt off already will ya I wanna open this thing. I'll admit that I'll usually hang my left arm up on the floater bar, but that's so that my wing will inflate and keep the 90 knot blast out of my ear. But, um, yeah, I've definitely seen more than a few folks who seem to be somewhat uneasy if they have to sit in my preferred seat or maybe on the floor right next to the door.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
dgskydive 0 #25 May 19, 2003 Well open it up quickly if you see me on the plane. I hate to sweat. Plus, when you fart it kills me! Dom
