SkymonkeyONE 4 #2 May 15, 2003 Any variety of methods work, but my best results have come from using (no lie) vinyl top paint. Chuck

oldnewbie 0 #4 May 15, 2003 Yep!!, Go to your nearest PPG paint store (automotive) and they sell the trim paint and have the instructions that go along with the paint. In the instruction, they explain what products to prep the metal, plastic, or cloth. I've used these several times, and all of their products and cleaners/prep stuff has worked quite well. I think the trim paint is produced by a company called SEM!! You didn't mention if the trim was plastic or metal. If it is plastic, if you use the cleaner and prep, it kinda softens the plastic up so that it grips the paint better. Good luck and have fun!
favaks 0 #5 May 15, 2003 It's soft plastic. I'll drop by the automotive store and check it out. Thanks, favaks

skybytch 273 #14 May 20, 2003 QuoteI sure do like a good paint job!! Well then... take a look at these! (click on images after the home page loads) My brother does the chassis and suspension and most of the mechanical; his boss Bob does the paint. The pics don't do the paint jobs justice at all though.
