ladyskydiver 0 #52 May 14, 2003 Mom had 5 names picked out for me. After I was born and the nurse came up to her and asked her what my name was going to be, the only one she could remember was Cora. baa75 0 #59 May 14, 2003 Quote Let's get back to pussyboy...whazup with that????? Hey Allen…Nick…Pussyboy…Whatever you go by this week…That’s pretty good, it took a whole week & a half for you to spill it on here. I’m pretty impressed that you managed to keep it in for so long!As for your little shopping trip…I would've picked it up myself but since I was on the phone with “SOMEONE” as I was leaving work I forgot it. Since he's the one who distracted me and made me forget it, he should have to go pick it up for me. Besides, I actually thought it was pretty sweet. EWWW!! Did I just say that?! Anyway, lets get it straight here…You came over and offered to pack for me, Jim was already picking on you for that. I just happened to mention that packing for me was NOTHING compared to what you did on Friday. Not my fault that he kept pestering me to know what you did. I could only take his “Please, please tell me?!” for so long! Ok, so I told him but…HE’s the one who bellowed out for the rest of the DZ to hear…What a Pussy! He packs her parachute, buys her girly things…and he isn’t even doing her! With Jim around I didn’t HAVE to tell anyone else! HA! PJ started out just picking on your pack job. (BTW - That was a nice bow you had my lines tied into.) It just got worse when he saw you tied up later that night. (or did you forget about that?) He just happened to notice how much you were enjoying…I mean uh…resisting it. You’re on your own for telling him about carrying my purse at the mall! baa75 0 #60 May 14, 2003 Quote Let's give credit where credit is due. BA told more people you were a pussy than I did. She's the true evil one here. One question...If I’m the true evil one then how did Allen’s inbox get filled with PM’s from people in other states before I even got home from the DZ that night? Hmm?? Any ideas JIM?? Thank you so much for giving me the credit on this one. However you definitely did more damage than I did. You deserve all the credit! -BettyAnn-
QTPi 0 #61 May 14, 2003 Here's on for you...Angelee. Not Angie. Not Angela. Angelee. And no middle name! I was pissed as a kid because everyone had a middle name but me. And no one believed me when I told them, thought I just didn't like it. -- A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions. -Oliver Wendel Holmes

airann 1 #64 May 15, 2003 My name is Ann (NMI) Jamison. According to the Government. Because I have NO middle name they inserted NMI. In 4th grade I got in trouble because 'I would not tell' my middle name. Finally, just before I got the paddle I said Marie. It took years to straighten that one out. I was named after Lt Col Anne Marie Doering. My relative. She was in intelligence, she spoke and could write in 6 lanquages and is listed as an American Hero. She was awared the Bronze star with a V for Valor. She was in Paris, New Guinea, and many places. She never spoke of her duties as she was her work was classified. We knew she captured enemy personnel. We knew McAurther knew her by Anne Marie. And there was another real famous General who knew her by Major, but I forgot his name. Westmoreland or something, maybe. I will have to look it up from my Dad's letter. I have been researching it somewhat this past month. She only learned English when she came to live with my Grandmother to be raised with my Dad, aunts and uncles. My Great Uncle married her mother who was a German widow. Anne Maries father was French. Quote The first Women’s Army Corps (WAC) person to serve in Vietnam was Major Anne Marie Doering (1962 to 1963). The daughter of a French engineer, she was born and raised in Haiphong and spoke fluent Vietnamese. She was assigned to the Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG) in Saigon as a plans officer. More like "plans officer". Her stuff is till classified. I have written the Vientamn Women Veterans, WAC Museum, and other places to find out what all she did. I only know that she has a box full of metals. I dont know what all they mean. They are held for me along with her uniform. Yet 3 years after her passing I am not ready to deal with it. We were very close. She spoke and read, Chinese, Vietnamese, German, French, something else, and finally English. My Grandmother taught her English via the dictionary. My Grandfather nicknamed her Chink. I come from a long line of serious jokers yet caring/loving/giving individuals. She graduated from the same high school I did as Saludictorian. She was THE MOST patriotic person I have ever met, bar none. After everything she accomplished in her life, she was most she was an American. She never married, she spent all her life serving this country in a way that we will likely never know. ~AirAnn~
