eeneR 3 #1 March 31, 2003 Memorial Weekend May 24-26th Team Funnel will be hosting the Second Annual Team Funnel Memorial Boogie and Big-Way Invitational at Skydive Chicago in Ottawa, IL In the Fall of 2001, we lost three members to tragic accidents. In honor of these members, and in honor of all passed skydivers, Team Funnel held the first annual Team Funnel Memorial Boogie on Saturday, May 25, 2002, at Skydive Chicago, in Ottawa, Illinois. With an estimated 200 skydivers in attendance, we succeeded in raising over $5400 for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois at this event, making one child’s wish come true! Once again, Memorial weekend is drawing near, time for the Second Annual Team Funnel Memorial Boogie. To honor our friends, we will be raising funds to make another child’s wish come true, through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois. We will also be honoring them by enjoying the sport they loved -- skydiving. The Memorial Boogie The Memorial Boogie portion of this grand weekend will basically be the same as last year. We'll have: Live Music Charity Raffle Sunday Night Talent Contest Silent AuctionEvening CookoutSpecial Sales (baked goods and more) We might even threaten you with another Bikini Dive! Currently, we are trying to gather over 100 raffle and auction items. We will also be raffling services like Free Repacks, Video Jumps, Coach Dives, and Massages. We expect the attendance to be between 200 and 300, and will schedule “vendor time” for skydivers to visit with those vendors in attendance. In addition if you or anyone you know would like to contribute something for the raffle please PM me or Contact Bill Homer (see below) We will be setting up online donations as well as raffle ticket sales through PayPal . More information to be posted on that later. The Big-Way Invitational In addition to the fund raising events, this year’s Memorial Boogie will include a “Relative Big-Way Invitational.” This event is geared toward B and C license skydivers. The idea is to increase their skydiving skills. “Relative” refers to their experience. We will categorize each participant based on their experience level, abilities, and comfort level. We'll have organizers for the categories, working exclusively with that group. We'll be focusing on 4 ways, 8 ways, 16 ways, and 22 ways for the flat fliers. Does that exclude A and D holders? No way. Everyone is welcome, but we're focusing on the mid-range. If you have a D license but lack Big Way experience, this is definitely for you! Does Invitational mean you can't come without an invitation? No way. It just means we are sending a special invite to all B and C license holders. Our goal is to have MANY organizers, so every group of 4 has an organizer and doesn't have to wait for one to become available. Jumpers will get the opportunity to jump with multiple organizers and many others of their own skill level. If abilities and numbers allow, we hope to have a final 2 or 3 plane shot at the end of the weekend for those participants qualified. For the Freeflyers, we have Team Alchemy, Bill Hughes and others lined up to organize. Probably not going to work toward a 22 way here, but . . . The Invitational Details Registration will be $30.00 in advance. Advance means by May 1st. After May 1st, it's $35.00 or $40.00 at the gate (space permitting). Registration includes a Tshirt, Boogie Booklet filled with articles and information, a "survival" kit, and one ticket to the Saturday night Cookout. Jumps will be at regular prices. There are a limited number of slots available (we want to guarantee a good Organizer to Participant ratio). REGISTER NOW! by contacting tequilabill@teamfunnel.com. Or download the registration form, print it, fill it out and mail it and your registration fee to: Team Funnel c/o Bill Homer PO Box 261 Ottawa, IL 61350 For more information on the Boogie and Big-Way Invitational, which venders are participating or to get a copy of the registration form…visit Team Funnel Memorial Boogie and Big-Way Invitational or contact Bill Homer at : Email: tequilabill@teamfunnel.com She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto

It will probably be the standard hotdog and hamburger BBQ. I will keep you posted Quote As for the bikini drive... do the males volunteer or are they chosen? There are some people that should not be seen in a mens or womens bikini Yah, and that's why they made so much money last year. We really, REALLY didn't want to see that. Would just be too awful. So you better be ready to put down some money to make sure it doesn't happen. Cuz these jokers really put down the money to make us all ill. Or they are really repressed and just want to "come out". I don't know which yet.
