TheBile 0 #1 April 30, 2003 I can't stop playing Evanescence - Bring Me To Life at the moment which I recorded off MTV. Fantastic single but I was wondering if it was typical of the rest of the album. Does anyone have it and if so is it worth getting ? Secondly, the guest singer on that track is a guy who fronts a band called 12 Stones. Anyone have any of their music and if so can you give me a heads up as to what style of rock/metal they do and if the album is any good. Cheers.Gerb I stir feelings in others they themselves don't understand. KA'CHOW !

Gosia 0 #3 April 30, 2003 I have the evanescense cd. It rocks! Love it and play it over and over. The cd has a variety of music.. some slower some faster. Everyone that gets in my car wants to know what cd that is and end up buying a copy. tracks 2, 4 and 9 are my favorite.
misskriss 0 #4 April 30, 2003 I agree completely..... It is the best music I've heard in awhile. It's all I play in my car, lately....
jessd 0 #5 April 30, 2003 The rest of the album is awesome as well. Well worth the money it costs. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..."
sunshine 2 #6 April 30, 2003 I love it too. A certain someone (Kris) is supposed to be burning me a copy of the CD and mailing it to me. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
skymama 37 #7 April 30, 2003 My daughter used the title "bring me to life" as her new im screen name. My first reaction was to worry that she was going through teenage depression. So, when I asked, I got the rolled eyes with the condescending voice of her saying, "no mom, it's just a song I like!" She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

Slappie 9 #12 April 30, 2003 I haven't heard it yet or I have and just don't know who the artist is. I have to agree with everyone whos posted Audioslave that cd is on in my truck constantly. TheBile 0 #14 April 30, 2003 That's OK kiddo. Thanks for mentioning in the other thread that you like Mr Holland's Opus. I thought I was the only one who thought that was good. Now I am no longer alone. Thanks to everyone who has responded here. I've just ordered the CD and it will be with me by the end of the week. I will also keep my ear out for music from Audioslave based on your recommendations. Gerb I stir feelings in others they themselves don't understand. KA'CHOW ! TheBile 0 #18 May 7, 2003 Just to let you all know that based on your recommendations I have now bought the album, and I'm glad I did. One crap tune out of 12 aint bad (and it's the slowest one.) The style of music is like getting Disturbed, Extreme and Heart - chucking them all in a bowl and mixing them all together. Cheers folks. I knew I could rely on you lot. aneblett 0 #24 May 7, 2003 I got them off of the newsgroups... 1 version doesn't have the 12 stones singer (the original I think)in it, and another one has slightly different beginning and background music. I was mistaken I thought I had downloaded 4 versions but I only seem to have grabbed 3. PM me and I can arrange to get them to you. I am in the prcess of compiling some of her other work as well that isn't on the Fallen album. AgeS.E.X. party #2 ..It is far worse to live with fear, than to die confronting it.
