The best 'flying' music track...

Recommended Posts

What is it? Which track by whom with the best lyrics makes you yearn to be just out the door at 15k in a blue sky? A few:

1. Signs of Love - Moby
2. Fly Away (accoustic) - Lenny Kravitz
3. Sunset (Bird of Prey) - Fat Boy Slim
4. Are You Still Having Fun? - Eagle Eye Cherry
5. Everloving - Moby
6. A Beautiful Day - U2

any more?

hmm...

"Don't You" by Candlebox just frikkin rocks..
probably something about Quincy'97 being my first boogie video.... but it's jsut got energy and i can't hear the song and NOT get charged about jumping..

"The Glass Prison" by Dream Theater is wonderful for the drive TO the DZ... except I can't seem to drive fast enough with that song on.....

"No Regrets" by i'm-not-sure-who (also off quncy '97) is cool jump song and a great wake-up-in-the-morning-and-get-a-good-outlook-on-life song as well

Landing without injury is not necessarily evidence that you didn't fuck up... it just means you got away with it this time

How bout:

Drive--Incubus
Lost art of keeping a secret--Queens of the stone age
Mud Pie--Kyuss
Digital Bath--Deftones

Planet Caravan works suprisingly well and Im thinking of a Latin theme on the next one would be cool :). That intro song to Pulp Fiction, Kinky, Puya and an instamental Tequilla Sunrise from Cypress Hill....Woooohoooo!
Blue Skies!

It's gotta be Red Hot Chilli Peppers "Can't or won't stop"
First heard it on The freefly wiggaz vid on FTP Skydivingmovies(can't find the link sorry).
Everytime I hear it now it takes me 13500 ft up in less than a second.
Also another is Lighthouse family "High".
First heard this in our DZ's Grand Caravan when I was a student on my first lift out of something other than a 206.
Both always put a smile on my face.:)

Well, if your old enough and jumped at Deland then it would have to be "Dark Side of the Moon" by Pink Floyd played through the "Mister Douglas" DC-3 8-track system. Circa 1974-75
