Sugar free Red Bull

Recommended Posts

Oh my goodness, I'm so happy I found Red Bull that's sugar free this morning! Has this been out awhile and I just didn't notice it? It only has 10 calories in it and so far today it seems to be working as well as the regular Red Bull to keep me awake (some dz.commers just go on and on when they're on the phone! ;)). Unfortunately, it still tastes like cough syrup though. :P

Now with the low calories, Red Bulls and Vodka are looking even more appealing!

Isn't there a bunch of other stuff in it that helps with the energy boost? Maybe I'm just feeling good because it chased my coffee this morning. :P

That sh*t tastes like cough medicine to me too. Especially when vodka is added...:(

I don't know what people see in it. Guess it takes all kinds...:D

hmmm...GoFast is much, much better tasting. Works better, too.

Yummy. Try it sometime at a boogie (I'm not sure they ship anything to FL yet).

I dunno if they have a sugar free version, though.

Ooooh, Travis, does the Code Red take out the cough syrup taste? What is that, like a cherry flavored drink?

More importantly, what's it called?

I'm guessing a can of Red Bull by itself is a "Lonely Bull", and a Red Bull & Vodka is called a "Pink Bull"...

...and a Red Bull & Vodka & Red Mountain Dew is called...

...wait for it...

..."Incomprehensa - Bull" :D

People who drink Red Bull are "Gulla - Bull", at least to me...hehehe :D

man, I agree with that! maybe TASTE-FREE RedBull would be an improvement! I haven't tried the gofast, but we have it around florida...

I went to a party where everyone was mixing Johnny Walker and Red Bull, what a waste of good booze![:/]

What ingredient did they use for a sugar replacement?

Hmmm.. I do see that Aspartame is listed on there.

Anyone know what Taurine is?

I think Taurine is the good stuff in there, it's the common ingrediant in all of the energy drinks that came after redbull....:D

Quote

What does it do?
Taurine is an amino acid-like compound and a component of bile acids, which are used to help absorb fats and fat-soluble vitamins. Taurine also helps regulate the heart beat, maintain cell membrane stability, and prevent brain cell over-activity.

Where is it found?
Taurine is found mostly in meat and fish. Except for infants, the human body is able to make taurine from cysteine—another amino acid.

We had a case of the sugar free stuff at the DZ this weekend. I thought it was nasty. I prefer Go Fast, but it is hard to find here. >:( I'd just as soon drink my liquor and chase it with something rather than mis it all up with that stuff.

I do prefer Go Fast, but they didn't have it at the convenience store I went to this morning. I'm only drinking it for the energy boost today because I only got 4 hours of sleep. It did made me think that Sugar Free Red Bull and Vodka might be lower in calories than a beer.

TAURINE is a crystalline, free-form amino acid. It is a soothing, inhibitory neurotransmitter and plays a major role in stabilizing the heartbeat and electrical activity of the nerves.
