Sabre2 170 in a I-43?

I am getting an Infinity and I plan on having a Sabre2 170 for a little while and then downsizing to a 150. Someone said that i should get a I-43 w/PD optimum 160, would this work?

I think they build the rig according to the canopies you select and will be able to downsize 2 sizes for the main. someone correct me if I'm wrong. they have a sizing chart on their site so you can see what size container your looking at getting.

If I had to *GUESS* I would say an I34 would much more sensible
first digit is the reserve packtray, second is the main packtray

I-34 is the way to go. I have an I-34 with a Safire2 169 and a optimum 160. Fits perfect

You've made a good choice with the Infinity. Another really good choice would be to tell them what canopies you will put in it and let them decide what the size should be.

An I-43 would hold a Optimum 176, and nothing bigger than a 150 main. My Safire2 169 barely packs into my Infinity I-34.
