skymama 37 #14 April 23, 2003 When I was swimming, we used to have shaving parties, and we would all shave together in one room and help each other. See if you can get one of the cute girls to help you get those hard to reach places. Make sure you use plenty of fresh razors, shaving gel and it might help to pick up some Seabreeze which helps if you get razor burn. I don't really think shaving itself makes you go faster, I think it's more of a psychological aspect where you feel faster, so then you might swim a little harder. My coaches used to make us stop shaving our legs for 3 months before a big meet. That was real attractive! Also, the guys on my team used to wear pantyhose under their suits with the feet cut out during warm-up so they wouldn't feel the just shaved effect until their big race.
