I have never seen this crapfest before, but I doubt it can outdo Fandango or Drop Zone.

Sorry to all those that hate this movie. And what is it with criminals in skydiving movies?

Don't focus too much on the trivial artistic inconsistencies. Focus on the spirit of the drop zone. See how many of the characters in the movie parallel people you know in real life at the drop zone. I'll bet you a dollar that for every person on the "team" you have somebody at your own drop zone that's pretty damn close.

As to the credibility of the people that made the film . . . check out THIS and see if there are any names you might recognize.

When Redline went to get into the wrong plane at the competition, I swear that was Happythoughts you can see sitting inside the plane in a yellow jumpsuit! I know he was an extra, I wonder if I'm right?

I was so stoked to see this when it came out and then spent the whole movie wondering why..........poor acting across the board...... I did like the "student" swooping the pond though..... made me laugh pretty darned hard----reminded me of my first chow

That would be moi. [] I go skydiving on Friday and look what I miss, a thread about Cutaway. Did 3 jumps yesterday.

I'm actually in the scene with Bill Booth a little also, but it got cut out mostly. If you slo-mo the tape, you'll see me walking behind Baldwin after he gets off the motorcycle and after those shots of Bill Booth.

Got some other scenes with Jumpergirl, the 2 of us standing around looking up. My best shot is at the end in a crowd scene.

I agree with that. Especially the "...going no-lift" thing. Obviously, if you are last out, you are going to go head-down to catch the group.

I've actually seen this in real life - the airforce does it often when they're training for their four-way event.

Happythoughts and I were known as "You two" during the movie! It was great! Our better scenes are on the DVD, but not the VHS. LOL "look up, point, pretend to talk, but don't talk." Lots of fun!
