lauril 0 #26 April 3, 2003 QuoteI'm on my fourth one. I never leave home without it! I think my present phone is my tenth, got a phone when I was about fifteen..(21 now) I'm looking forward to my eleventh, because this sucks ! It's a motorola, (no offence) but it's nothing compared to nokia... Always in my left pocket, always...

suz 0 #29 April 3, 2003 Yep! Onto my second mobile now! It's two years old on September 11th (I remember reading the manual for it when the towers went down) It's been through a lot, my Mobile and I... **Dream music plays** Many many times, I've lost it, pressed it's buttons, chipped it, bruised it's face, rearranged it's face, shattered it into tiny little pieces, It's nose dived across my kitchen floor. I've put strange objects up it's butt,(yet it seems to like it, because it's full of energy after I take the object out!) I've scratched it, yelled at it... Once I abused it so much, I had to send him to hospital. I broke it's vibrator, it's ear....and it's heart!!! I am such a bad owner. I just adore it! As much pain as I have put my mobile through, I am amazed it hasn't grown legs and attempted to run away! It's actually broken again! I broke it's ear, again! (the speaker) I didn't send it to the hospital this time. I was too afraid that it'd get sent to a foster home.So I bought a detachable ear for it! I like it's new look. Don't bother me, I'm living happily ever after
lauril 0 #30 April 3, 2003 Quote The software sux big time. Agreed. I have motorola T-something, and for ex. writing sms's is like hell, and the whole interface (I think it's called an interface) sucks... They are nice looking and small, but there's got to be more than that...

nacmacfeegle 0 #39 April 3, 2003 I've got a Timport, which is their triband effort. Man I just hate it! Texting is a pain, Entering new numbers is a pain. Reading SMS is a pain. be sure you try one out somewher before you commit, you may not like it. I loathe mine.Oh and you can't get groovy covers for them either. -------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. PLFXpert 0 #40 April 3, 2003 I had my own phone at age 8. My pager at age 12, and my first cell phone at age 13. I still have my first cell phone. It was HUGE. I'm not a huge fan of talking on any kind of phone. I don't typically call anyone just to say hey. I only call if I really have something to say. I have a cell phone but mainly for comfort; just to know that no matter where I am or what happens I have that with me to get in touch with whoever I need to. It's also great for long distance family calls. But for the most part, I don't use it too much. I get by on my 200 anytime minutes and free, unlimited weekends plan. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Keith 0 #49 April 3, 2003 I disconnected my land line in favor of a cell phone.
